Chrissys Villa was an excellent value for what you get. Amazing view of the Caribbean Sea at both sunset and sunrise. Just my wife and I were here for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Ishana was very helpful with the check-in (keycode, gates, and safe) and explained about the villa. She also runs a local restaurant and brought up and cooked in the villa a nice three-course local meal, it was fabulous, and we highly recommend it.
Mansion brought us some local fruits and quickly took care of any minor issues we had.
Chrissy also connected us to Verna to do a couples massage on the terrace at the villa after our long flight, it was a fabulous way to start the trip.
It was so relaxing and nice to have coffee and breakfast on the terrace enjoying the view and hearing all the birds.
The king-size bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great in the bedroom and the main area. Generally, the mosquitos were very few at the villa and on the island but for a magnet like me, it only takes one. I should have brought a pop-up mosquito net from Amazon for the bed. There were some bright LEDs for sleeping that a pizza box, pillows, and nose strips for makeshift tape quickly blocked out.
The first week we had an amazing time Kiteboarding at Kitsurfingstlucia.com with Beth. The zipline tram and hike were a great package at Rainforest Adventures. We enjoyed the Volcano Tour and ATV/Rapelling with island-atv.
That being said by far the most dangerous and crazy thing we did was drive to places. My wife called it our go-cart adventure. Yes, you want a small 4X4. The challenge was the roads are narrow, potholed, and people parked on the road. That meant that you randomly had a one-lane street to get around parked cars. Google Maps worked the best in the south and Maps.me in the north.
This little cove that you see from the villa was great for snorkeling. It was fun we saw so many beautiful fish and a few eels. We drove to Anes Chastanet to snorkel, only to find that it was covered in Sargassum seaweed. This was the worst road on the entire island even the ATV trails were better. The little cove had no seaweed.
After that, we scrapped the other tourist sites we planned, just enjoying the pool, the Jacuzzi tub, and the view. The Jacuzzi/shower water was hot, just took a little while to heat up.
Overall Chrissys Villa is an excellent place to stay in many ways it was a destination in itself much more than just a good central place to sleep between travels
