We had a fantastic stay here. Loved the cozy quiet vibe. My favorite part was all the fire flies that come out at night while sitting on the porch in the trees.
This was my first experience booking and the gem we stayed at did not disappoint! I was so happy to find this gem on the site! Cristina was quick to answer any questions I had before booking. We were greeted by two amazing pups Remi and Oliver. It was like they knew they needed to greet the guests and even had us follow them up the steps showing us where to go. The cabin was not only cozy, but super clean and had everything we could have ever needed for our stay. The hosts thought of everything! We spent alot of time on the deck bbqing (which those items were provided too). We felt so at home, that we didn't even feel the need to leave the cabin except for items to cook which I found a store about 5 miles away! The area was so quiet and off the grid we miss it already. Internet was a little spoty, but who cares we were in the woods! We wanted to disconnect some! Plenty of shade with the amazing trees. I could even breathe easier there with all that oxygen in the air. Cristina went out of her way and left a bday balloon on the porch for my fiance's bday! If you are considering booking this cabin. DOOOO IT. The hosts were absolutely great, and we loved our daily visits from Remi and Oliver! We will be back! They also have a cozy cottage on site too!
Really nice cabin stay. Two dogs on the property that were cute and friendly. Snacks, coffee, dishes, plenty of towels. Huge soaking jet tub. Hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Wifi works and my ATT jetpack worked. Must be connected to internet to send or recieve texts and calls. Beautiful outdoor deck area. Perfect spot for a vacation getaway, and it worked great for my work stay also.
Seriously. This place was incredible! It was very clean, organized and decorated. Sometimes I struggle with feeling safe in some bnbs, but this was perfect! I would definitely stay here again. I really do believe that the pictures are great, but donât do it justice. Thank you for the great hospitality!
Enjoyed the cabin and the ambiance! Very clean and comfortable. The fireplace is awesome Rain kept us from enjoying the deck and the property but we hope to come back soon.
Me and my husband loved our little 1 year anniversary getaway. The Cabin is very cozy and in a wonderful location. You can enjoy the remoteness of the woods surrounding you but are also close enough to Washington to get out to eat if you want. Both Cabin and Cottage were very clean and wonderfully comfortable! Would 10/10 reccomend!
This was my second stay at the Cowboy Cabin, and my stay was just as good as the first time. The property is safe and peaceful, the cabin cute and comfortable, and the adjoining deck offers stunning views. The owner is friendly and has 2 of the most adorable dogs that visited with me and my dogs. This is the kind of place youâll want to visit again and again.
Perfect place to get away! This is our favorite cabin in the woods with a comfortable queen bed, a wood burning fireplace, a jetted tub and a loft with two twin beds. There's tv, internet, snacks, coffee and a small kitchenette and mini fridge. This is our second stay at Cowboy cabin and we love it as a cozy retreat. Nearby are two towns for food and other necessities. I highly recommend the Cowboy Cabin if you are wanting to unplug from daily life. The hosts are exceptional and eager to make your stay a pleasant experience.
We visited this property many years ago when it had different owners. After not returning for over a decade, we found it to still be amazing! The wood-burning fireplace, the jetted tub, the cozy bed, and the grill on the deck all contributed to a wonderfully enjoyable stay. We will definitely return!
This cozy cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Needed a place not terribly far from home to take a pause from our busy everyday life. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace & the gorgeous surroundings. Met the property owner & her gorgeous pup, very welcoming & inviting. Highly recommend & will consider for future visits to the area!
While we didnât get to stay because our dog passed away while we were there, I canât say enough nice things about the owners! They were comforting, helpful and understanding. They helped us find a 24 vet hospital to take our poor pup too and she even called ahead and told them we were coming! The place was peaceful and serene and Iâm just sorry we couldnât stay.
Thank you, Tim and Cristina for allowing us to stay in your Cowboy Cabin on Oct 28-30. We loved everything about the accommodations but particularly enjoyed listening to the trees sway in the wind while on the deck and porch. It was so nice having our Maizy doodle with us and she thoroughly enjoyed running through the woods to get to the bark park. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub were icing on the cake. It was just cool enough for us to enjoy both and sure appreciated the wood supply. We ventured out and about to the cute little towns of Dutzow and Marthasville and enjoyed another tour of the Daniel Boone Home as well. Our two day stay was just what we needed to get some much needed rest and relaxation. Next time we plan to stay in the cute little cottage thatâs on the property as well. Thank you again for everything; there isnât a thing you havenât thought about to make your guestsâ stay a pleasurable one.
We had a wonderful stay at the cowboy cabin. The cabin had all we needed and we were provided with a detailed manual which was well prepared to answer any question we had, the host made it feel very welcoming by being so receptive if we needed to contact them for any reason. This was truly a great little getaway for my husband and I. We would highly recommend a stay here for a single person, couple or family.
We stayed two nights and the cabin was great. We knew there wasn't a kitchen,so brought a cooler with food to make on the charcoal grill. Everything we needed to cook outside was provided for. Inside there is a hot plate and pots and pans. Microwave and toaster. The mini fridge held some of out food and the rest stayed cold in our cooler. The deck with chairs, table and a gas fire pit was nice to sit around when it cooled off at night. The cabin was15 minutes from a couple of Katy Trail trailheads. We biked two days and it was very conveinient and close. We climbed the ladder to the loft just to check it out. It would be great for a family with a couple of kids. Low ceiling would make it difficult for some adults. We loved the place and will come here again.
