I have stayed at this property several times in the past and loved the view, the room and the friendly staff. I was however very disappointed in the location of room 103. The room is located beside the outdoor bar that is covered with plastic surrounding it that rattles when the wind blows.There is NO view except for the plastic and the pop machine, ice machine and desk is right outside the door. I booked through Expedia and the desk clerk said Expedia books that room. I will be very skeptical about booking a "partial view" when booking with Expedia. I thought I knew the property but was dead wrong when it came to that room.

Loved the patio and lake. Was very quiet, sad lounge closes for the season. Hot tub would have been wonderful. Staff friendly. The sunset was magnificent. They didn’t refill the toilet paper, so the night of 2nd day, we had to go find some. Could use more lighting, and maybe some pics on the wall.

Our room was clean and attractive. Although we didn't ask for a view of the lake, we had one except that there were the legs of stored bar stools sticking up that got in the way of the view. I asked the night before if there would be coffee in the pot in the lobby and was told there would be but wasn't. I knew they didn't provide breakfast but most every place has coffee. The little pot in the room was pretty useless; I only got 1/2 cup and we only had one regular pod for 2 of us. I did really like the paper cups they had for both environmental reasons and more pleasant than styrofoam. Beds were comfortable; pillows not. More than anything, they need office staff on site earlier. Did answer phone number provided quickly.

The hotel is great being right on the lake! The balcony off my room was excellent! The rooms are nice and clean with plenty of space. The only things that could improve are the Wifi was very weak and I couldn't get work done that I needed. The other is that no one is there to check you in after 6:00pm.

I usually stick to the big brand hotels, but took a chance on Lakeside Inn and had a wonderful stay. The room had a fantastic waterfront view and a patio. I liked the hard floors. The bed was soft, which was good for me. I was worried about noise with restaurant near my patio; but there was no problem with noise. The friendly staff went above and beyond! Fun little hotel!
