OLID RELIABLE CITY CENTRE HOTEL
Stayed here on three occasions for a total of nine nights during Nov/Dec. I am a regular Ibis/Accor user across the world, and so familiar with the service level. As a base for a protracted stay this Ibis was exactly what we needed. No frills, but a straightforward functional clean hotel. The location, next to Victoria Market is in the free tram zone, and so easy to connect into the City, Flinders/Southern Cross Stations, South Side etc. Desk staff always helpful. Room was clean, quiet, with a good bed and well provisioned bathroom. Room servicing very efficient. The self service laundry/dryers etc (paid for) is an excellent bonus for those staying a while, as is the ability to leave luggage between stays (at no cost). We did not use the buffet breakfast, prefering to walk across to Victoria Market, so cannot comment.

The reception staff were amazing and attentive to our individual needs. There were days when the room refresh was done later than ideal. I understand this isn't the norm and was probably a staffing issue, but we were in the room and didn't want to leave.
