Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Mena in a beautiful golf course community. It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres on Weedhopper Ranch. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your rig to the trails or ride your SxS to Wolf Pen Gap or Fourche Mountain from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute ride by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We will provide you with a map that shows the route we take from the cabin to the trails. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. Enjoy the deck, grill out or just sit by the fire and enjoy the peace and quiet.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Rich Mountain Community College. The cabin includes amenities such as a kitchen and a patio.

Great Experience
We had a great experience at the cabin. The hosts were awesome. All their attention to detail was refreshing and thoughful. From the welcome cookies to the coffee pods, to the kyaks, fishing gear and much more... We were extremely satisfied and appreciative. Highly recommend this great place.

Wanted to come see grandkids in Mena and needed place to stay that would accommodate pets. Hosts were exceptional, even had blankets, water dishes for dogs. Amenities provided went above and beyond. All necessary kitchen equipment was provided. Enjoyed our time and will be back.

Birthday Getaway
Perfect place to unwind and getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin is little but was clean, cute, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Kitty was great to work with, communicating regularly and making sure everything was up to par. Several little things were a pleasant surprise such as homemade snickerdoodles, pine knot for the fire pit, stocked coffee pods, fishing gear, etc. Beautiful and serene place.

My husband and I enjoyed the relaxing weekend on this property/. Quaint cabin overlooking a field with a creek. We did some fishing and hiking. They had kayaks available for use. We had a wonderful time may bring grandchildren next time.

A piece of God's Country

Thanksgiving Holiday
This place was awesome. When we got there Kitty had text me and ask if we would a plate for Thanksgiving for 2 because she had enough. It was delicious. Homemade cookies was waiting for us. Kitty help us with a map for us to ride our side by side from the cabin to Wolf Pen Gap. Her map was excellent .Everything we needed was there. We will be back. Mountain view was beautiful. Kitty family was very friendly and they welcome us like if we was their family.

Mena cabin
We had a wonderful stay in this small but wonderful cabin. There was a 'huge' area for our dogs to run and play in and the setting was definitely peaceful. The stars at night were incredible to see considering that living close to a city, you don't see a whole lot. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely book again here, if available. Just like going home, BUT, with fresh baked cookies!!! Great place to reconnect with loved ones. Beatuiful inside and out. Even has snacks for star watching on the deck. You must come here.

Great little get away
The property is quiet, clean, well stocked, and conveniently located. The host is great and easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay. We took a walk in the neighborhood, went kayaking down the creek, watched the hummingbirds and deer and star gazed from the back deck. It was a very relaxing weekend stay to celebrate our anniversary. The wifi didn't work for us but we were okay with that because we needed to unplug.

Fun adventure!
This cabin was such a fun get away! The boys enjoyed the loft sleeping arrangements and thought the miniature house (compared to our own) was adorable! The ten year old wanted to stay! Hahaha Wish we could have taken advantage of the fishing poles, kayaks, and fire pit… but our car decided to poop out on us and put a kink in our day! Luckily an in town mechanic handled the situation and got us back on the road! Thanks for sharing your cabin Kitty and Fish!

It's nice to see southern hospitality alive and well. Fish and Kitty are some of the finest folks I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The property had everything one could ask for. I couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be returning! Made my son's 18th birthday one for the books!!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This is the perfect little cabin if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful setting. Deer in the backyard, fishing close by and a deck to sit on and enjoy it all. The hosts are so helpful without being intrusive. I have a stressful job and this spot was just what we needed to decompress, relax and renew!

Relaxing and peaceful vacation
Our hosts were helpful and friendly. The cabin was cute and clean with a beautiful view from the back patio. Very relaxing and had a great time fishing and walking around the grounds. Took our dog with us and he was relaxed and happy also. Feel rested and only wish it was warmer and sunny, and we could have stayed longer.
