Traveling with my family we loved the location of the Seacoast Suites and overall enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a 3 room (that slept 8), 2 bath unit overlooking the ocean. Although this is a “classic” building it’s still nice. There are two elevators that are not fast leaving you waiting at times. The apartment was advertised with a fully equipped kitchen - we had 4 forks for eight people, no hot pads, 5 or 6 super small bowls, one small mixing bowl, one small sponge and a felt drying towel, no rags, no dish soap and limited number of kitchen tools. Similarly upon arrival we had 6 bath towels for 8 people. Continuing the theme you could not buy cheaper single ply toilet paper or tissues (that we had to ask for more of given our 8 night stay). It’s also frustrating to have living room space but a super limited amount of seating. Instead of a sectional or some combination of seating for 8, we could cram 5 people on the budget couch, one in a living room chair, then two of us had to sit in chairs from the dinner table to watch a movie together at night. Movies were also complicated with no casting and poor WiFi. I had to buy an HDMI cable, download movies given the WiFi speed and then we all watched the 35 inch TV. These are the customer service choices that could easily be upgraded. The apartment accommodations matter more when you have three days of cold over the Christmas break and early winter sunsets cause your family to have more together time inside.
For the amount of money I spent for eight nights, the owner could make 100% of the improvements necessary to make this a much nicer experience.
We had a great time, loved Miami Beach, enjoyed the soft sand … despite the over billed and under delivered accommodations.
