Relaxing!
This properties location is just beautiful! Right on Penns river and so peaceful and quiet. The home has everything you could need. We will be back in the summer!

Quiet Location with a beautiful view
Don't be fooled by the the front of this cabin. The inside was clean, cozy and well maintained. It was ready for us to relax the weekend away. There is a beautiful view of the river and we enjoyed the hot tub on the covered back porch. The kitchen was fully stocked with all our cooking needs...we just had to bring the food. We loved the area as well. Be prepared to drive a little to see things ...but we loved all the scenic roads on the way to and from our destinations. We stayed in February and had an ice/snow shower the night before we left. We were pleasantly suprised that a plow got to the road before we had to check out. We would stay again for sure.

This property is the second time we stayed here. It is very nice and cozy. We used the hot tub, fire pit, and fireplace. Its a great getaway.

Perfect couples retreat!
We could not have picked a better place for a few days away as a couple with two dogs. All the amenities, at an amazing location. Our goal was to spend most of our time relaxing at the cottage and this place was perfectly suited for that. It would also be perfect to bring our young daughter with us. The owner has thought of everything and is very generous in their amenities. Highly recommend!

A place to stay for a family wedding
We recently stayed at this adorable cottage while in Mifflinburg for my cousin's wedding. It was perfect for us, just a half mile away from the wedding venue. The location was just beautiful by the river and we thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Everything was clean and there were neatly printed directions to help us with the coffee pot, trash pickup, hot tub, check out, etc. Communication between us and the host was excellent. Mary always got back to me immediately if I had any questions. My mother accidentally left something behind and she was kind enough to mail it back to her right away. A wonderful cottage with wonderful hosts. We would definitely return again.

Quiet relaxing week
Third time stay at this older home on Penn’s Creek. Clean, comfortable, and met our needs for the week. I cooked and took to read in the evening. We spent the days fly fishing and I had time to some to do some watercolor painting. We used the hot tub to work out the kinks after a day of fishing and relaxed with the fire place, only missed the smell of real wood. The communication was excellent

Perfect!
Perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Between the fire pit and screened in porch we spent all our time outside enjoying the view!! It’s is the perfect place for day trips to Hershey Park and the Little League World Series!! We also went to Pennsylvania Creek Pottery just down the road and found some beautiful pottery to bring home! I would give 10 stars!!

Serene and Private Creekside Cabin
If you are looking for a relaxing stay with hottub overlooking Penn Creek, this place is highly recommended. They had all the supplies you would need - even a tie out for our pup. The main bed had a new mattress that was plush pillowtop. There were amenities like 4 kayaks (with oars and preservers), stocked firepit creekside, and charcoal grill. The wifi and 3 roku tvs worked great. The home was very clean. Tastefully decorated. The ac was very pleasant - there was a modern fireplace which we did not use. We met a neighbor and a few people in town and they were all super inviting. The hosts were able to give helpful info on kayak portage and had some favorite fishing spots if that is your interest. Very responsive. Coffeepot had both keurig and brew capacity. A welcoming complementary wine and coffee were proviided. I would stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway
My dad and I returned to Lewisburg to visit his hometown. He grew up around Penns Creek and the Lewisburg area. This cabin was in the perfect location to visit Lewisburg, Penns Cave, Halfway Dam, and Mifflinburg. The cabin was perfect and had everything! We cooked homecooked meals, ate on the porch, enjoyed the wildlife in the yard, slept in the most comfortable beds ever, and felt like we were in our home away from home... only better! This is cabin was a bucket list stay for me and my Dad, and we hope to come back again and make many more memories.

So Good I Want to Keep it a Secret
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. A very beautiful setting. No artificial light at night, just the stars. Comfortable, squeaky clean, very well equipped supplies throughout the property. Perfect hot tub in the screen-in porch overlooking the water. The owners, Bill & Mary, made all of the instructions super clear. We hope to be back again!

What a great stay!
If you are looking for a quite stay at a wonderful little fishing cabin. This is it. The house was spotless and yard was freshly cut. While I spent some time fishing.The kids decided to take a quick soak in the hot tub. And Bill and Mary are fantastic hosts! For the fishermen - It's s great stream to fish. Bring gear for trout and smallmouth bass. Recommend metal studs for anyone wading. The stream has a rocky and slick bottom. Good luck!
