We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eden Prairie, MN. Debbie and her husband were wonderful hosts . . Quick to answer any questions we had and so helpful. This place is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and had everything to make us feel right at home. We enjoyed the Minnetonka General Store and Chanhassen Dinner Theater nearby. The hot tub was a nice way to relax as was the great outdoor sitting area. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had a lovely stay in Eden Prairie! The lower level of the home was clean, comfortable, and just right for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The host clearly put thought into making the space clean and welcoming, which we really appreciated. We found the location convenient, and I’d gladly recommend this property to others looking for a calm and comfortable place to stay in the Twin Cities area.

Wonderful hosts!

The only real downside that I could point out (besides slim selection for seasonings, but I was very happy to at least have some essentials that I forgot!) Is that there isnt a way to control the temperature inside. It was pretty chilly for it being so warm outside. But, there were lots of blankets to snuggle up in!They had the upstairs rented out during our stay, and not having a lock on the bottom portion of the stairs definitely did threw me and my lady friend's off quite a bit, especially when they messed with the conjoined doors...The hosts are absolutely amazing people, they put up a customized sign for me and my husbands anniversary and made my day.

Needs a lot of changes

To start, this was advertised as “entire house” and it is NOT! You are essentially in their walkout basement and the homeowners are right above you. As some other reviews mention, there are these make shift folding doors blocking off the stairs but you hear EVERYTHING like they are in the room with you. The hot tub is nice but you have no privacy due the the upper level being right there over the hot tub. There is no thermostat for the entire lower so it was freezing the entire time (it was warm so they probably had the air on for the upper level). There was a ton of clutter and the couches are torn and old. The bathroom was terrible! The shower is VERY small and had hair (not ours) on the shower walls and the mat on the shower floor has not been cleaned in a long time, if at all & there were ants all over the bathroom sink & shower. The sheets on the mattress had questionable stains on them and a lot if their personal items were all over. There was a lot of creepy feelings due to them being right there and the stairway being so noisy due to them talking (arguing) and moving around a lot. We coukd hear them walking all over. We were very upset to find out it was advertised incorrectly as “entire house” and it’s upsetting because now that we read the other reviews, clearly others have complained yet the owner chooses to keep being dishonest about it. It was too late to change my booking once I figured out it was falsely advertised. Debbie and her husband were VERY nice

Great family weekend spot!

Took my wife and three kids and we had a great time! My kids loved playing on the trampoline and in the hot tub! We even found a Wii and they had fun playing some older games! Host was excellent and great with communication! She even mailed us my son’s stuffed animal that he forgot. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved my stay, it was very comfortable and I loved how private it was. I felt safe in the neighborhood, and it was really close to my training center, as I was there for work. The hot tub was a great added benefit!

Wonderful Winter Space!

We had a Wonderful experience in this sweet space. Three adults, three kids and plenty of room! The Hot Tub overlooks the trees and is huge! Debbie had New Years and Holiday decorations up. The smart tv was a bonus with the kids. We will be back!

Lovely setting, some noise issues

The location in a wooded setting next to a golf course was lovely. We were not brave enough to try out the hot tub (too cold outside for us), but it looked wonderful. The space is a basement apartment under the owners home. Furniture was nice, kitchen complete, beds comfortable. The problem was that you can hear everything that is going on upstairs. You can hear the owner's talking, the TV, them doing dishes, etc. There is a folding door that goes to a stairway to the upstairs and it seemed to be locked from the owners side with no way to lock it from the VRBO side, so a little concern about security. That said, the owner was very nice and responded to concerns quickly. They shoveled the snow right away and came to our rescue when we broke a glass and needed a broom. I would recommend this location, but know that it really isn't a true VRBO because you don't get an entire house to yourself. The owner lives upstairs and it is very clear that you are not in the property alone. I would say it is more of bed and breakfast that is hosted by the owner.

Nice downstair area

We were disappointed by the curb appeal, the entrance to the lower level was covered with Creeping Charlie. The walk down to the fire pit sitting area was covered in weeds and I had a rash appear on my left leg the next morning. This appeared to be poison ivy. On arrival we were informed the hostess working on getting the hot tub chemicals correct and her daughter was still cleaning the inside. Arrival time is 4:00 and we arrived after 5:00. Later in the evening the host came down and was surprised to see my daughter and I sitting in the lower outdoor patio. She stated she was concerned about the cover not being on the hot tub. We were waiting for the girls to come back out. Major concern was the stairwell inside that separates the area from the host who was staying upstairs. The stairway appears to have some kind of pocket door that is not secure. We also could hear everything going on upstairs, the first morning we heard utensils clinging on the side of a dish and several loud groaning screams. That night we were woken around 11:00 with upstair steps going back and forth on the upper level and sliding glass doors opening and closing. We were woken again at 6:00 with someone arriving upstairs very uncomfortable and way to much noise upstairs.

Convenient west side stay

Spacious living room and open concept kitchen. Nice master bedroom Wish there were screens on the windows so I could get fresh air since it’s a basement walk out and you can’t control the temperature No live TV, only streaming Hot tub cover was too heavy to take off so I didn’t get to use it as I had hoped Convenient location to where I needed to be on the west side of the Minneapolis suburbs

Wedding weekend

Love and laughter shared and memories made in a comfortable, clean space that allowed for all Of us to hang together whether it was by the fire, in the living room or on the deck.
