The first thing we noticed when walking in was a strong chemical smell- they were redoing part of the hotel so we just hoped the room wouldn’t be as bad. We checked in and were told to park on the side of the hotel. We pulled around and were greeted by a mountain of filthy mattresses and a group of men smoking something with a different chemical smell. At this point we were like “hmm maybe this isn’t a good idea” but we were tired and the thought of a hot tub on sore muscles sounded wonderful so we decided to at least give it a shot. We walked up to the side door and there was no lock preventing people from coming and going, and when we open the door, there was a smear of something brown on the wall. When we got to our room, it smelled like someone broke a bottle of cheap men’s cologne on top of the chemical smell, there was a bug in the hot tub and there was no latch type lock on the door. My partner gets migraines and there was just no was we could safely and comfortably stay so we snapped some pictures and went to the front desk to ask to be refunded. At first the man working was nice, saying he would have to talk to the manager about a refund since we booked through Expedia which is totally legit! He asked to see the pictures and apologized, then said he would call asap. We left and went to the car to look up other hotels near by. 5 min later he called and began yelling that the room was just fine and that there was no bug and then hung up on me. Avoid this place.

It is being renovated. Had to walk outside to get to lobby for the bkfst. Bkfst is underwhelming. Housekeeping never came to room in 3 night stay. One set of doors was security locked the rest had no locks so anyone could walk in the building at any time. Trash was piled up outside side entry.

This place was fantastic from start to finish! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything felt brand new. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the massive TV to the cute coffee and tea starter kit, and even a sponge for cleaning up. The room itself was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in—quiet, clean, and super comfy. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the oat milk creamer at breakfast, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread was great with a good mix of cereals, oatmeal. The space was well-organized, and I especially loved the clever window treatments that gave the room a fresh, modern feel. Plus, you’re within walking distance of Target, Cub Foods, southern social restaurant, Ansari's mediterian grill and Starbucks. Highly recommend this place!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed! The renovations have given it a fresh, brand-new look, with modern decor and updated amenities. The entire property was exceptionally clean, from the lobby to the rooms. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making check-in a breeze and answering all my questions with a smile. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommend!

Don’t Waste Your Time
The property was under construction and they did not advertise that. Everything in the room was falling apart. The outlets didn’t work. They deactivate keys so you have to report to the office every 12 hours. The breakfast consisted of cereal and stale bread. I came out of my bathroom to a cockroach. I can say this is the worst hotel experience I’ve had

Location is great - right off of Hwy 35E - close to several stores & restaurants for convenience. Now the not so great stuff - hold onto your hat….the room we were given when we got there was NOT cleaned! Then that evening when we got back after our evening out - the room was somewhat clean the floor you could clearly tell had not been cleaned BUT the topper was when I turned the sheets back to get into bed for the night there was HAIR & FOOD in the bed ….. GROSS GROSS GROSS ….. not only is that gross it is totally wrong & unsanitary and against ALL HEALTH CODES ….. to be reusing sheets for the next guests the next day!!!!! I immediately marched up to the front desk and explained the situation to the guy there - which this was not an easy task either as he had very broken English! When he finally figured out what I was saying he said we could move to the room next door if we wanted - which we did do but needless to say we were still very uncomfortable!

Way too much construction and remodeling going on walking through hallways with carpet being ripped up broken tile, cardboard, and paper all over the ground because of painting going on it was a disaster. The shower and bathtub sucked. You can see light coming through the main door on the bottom Because it was wide open. Definitely would not stay there again.
