Entertainment was limited and boring. Room and bathroom were clean. Ac works well. Love the variety of breakfast and lunch options. However, dinner was a pain as on arrival to get a reservation in the top tier restaurants. All were booked out and I had to go on a waiting list.

Loved the adjoining island. Food was above par. The restaurants were great. Both the jamaican and italian. Food was authentic. Buildings were a bit outdated same as i visited 7 years ago. Enjoyed the bar by the beach and the nightly shows. Service rreceived was worth the price paid. Would return again preferably for a short 3 to 4 day stay. The staff was welcoming and polite

I didn’t like anything about the resort, first off there communication is horrible,I tried calling the hotel for two days too make sure that they were still going to honor my reservation,because I missed my flight and know one ever got in touch with me by phone or email. That’s just the beginning of a very bad experience with this resort my door for my room would not open when you pushed the handle down, I had to push the handle up to get the door open,now once inside the out dated room I tried too use the safe to secure my belonging only to find out that the safe didn’t work . Next I go to the balcony too see the view and the door too the balcony is off track and the door almost fell on me.it took two days for someone to come to my room and put the door on track. There was no ice machine in the building 5 the staff told me I had to go to building 6 to get some ice from the machine and when I got there that machine didn’t work I had to go get some ice from the pool bar. The food was horrible and bland bottom line is I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

We visited Catalonia for our 10th year anniversary. We were disappointed. The room I booked initially was not the room I checked in. This property is really old and needs a lot of work. The beds are uncomfortable. The door of our room was broken it was always so hard to get in and out the room, it was always stuck and made so much noise. Cats were drinking the pool water. I will never go back. The staff were not nice. They seem unhappy. Our room was never cleaned when requested. We had to go to the front desk to request towels and wash clothes. The food and drinks were the best part of our vacation.

Rooms are in need of upgrading. The AC was very loud (prevented me from sleeping properly). The food was well prepared and tasty, however the variety of juices they offer is limited, the orange juice taste nothing like orange juice.
