The warmest Host & prettiest Home!
We stayed for New Year’s Eve and Day and ended up extending our stay because the home and Host are both extraordinary. We could not have asked for a better experience. We were welcomed as a family of 4 (2 couples) and our fur babies too. All of us were greeted with a fully stocked home, everything you could need or dream of is waiting for you and the decor is so charming and the beds are a DREAM!, you will sleep like babies. It’s a super clean home, smelled heavenly. The location was perfect for us, so close to Morehead’s waterfront and restaurants. And so close to the bridge to Atlantic Beach as well. The view of the water from the living room is beautiful too ! We were not expecting that. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. Some older homes are on this street as well as newer ones, very few were occupied when we were there. We felt thankful and fortunate to have found this wonderful home to end 2024 and begin 2025. THE kindest host/homeowner you will ever have the true blessing of interacting with. She was always just a message away if we had any questions and always had quick and warm reply. You will only need to bring your toothbrush and clothes at this home.It has the most well stocked kitchen and pantry and fridge we’ve ever encountered. And the bathrooms have an abundance of towels and toiletries. She even had a case of bottled water in the fridge for us and 6 rolls of extra paper towels and brand new dog food, new dog toys and treats! We felt spoiled!

Long weekend with a teen and a dog
This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a VRBO rental. The house was exactly as described, well stocked and cared for. Way too many extras to list! The cornhole and darts were a much appreciated surprise. Pamela was quick to respond and we felt right at home. Great location and view and I loved that she provided so many amenities even for my dog! We will absolutely be back!

Paradise and Pets!
We had such a fabulous vacation at this sweet beach house. It had everything we needed and more! We were greeted with friendly, airy beach decor and so many tasty little snacks! Thank you so much for the Anniversary treat! This was a memorable 11th anniversary for us and we were so grateful to spend it with our two pups. They loved all of the toys and dog beds. What a gracious host! Hope to be back soon!

Lovely View in a Quiet Neighborhood
We came up to Morehead City to enjoy the NC Seafood Festival and really enjoyed our stay here. The home has a great view, the home is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We had everything we could need and were close to the downtown and a nice coffee shop- The Mug Shot. We highly recommend staying here!!

Wonderful place
This was our 2nd stay at Pamela's place. It's a wonderful house and it's stocked with everything imaginable. Truly, from kitchen to bathroom to beach toys she has it covered! This is also the best dog friendly stay I've ever experienced She puts dog beds and toys out if you're bringing your pups. We will be back many times!

Great Stay
This location was all it was advertised to be. I aggressively with others that it was excellent. The host seemed to think of everything and then some. The home is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. Another time I would love to take advantage of all the extras in the garage. We really enjoyed the coffee extras that were provided and the snacks. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect for us. It is such a lovely area.

Coastal Getaway
The location of this house was perfect for us! My husband and I came to do a little fishing and relaxing. This property is close to everything we wanted. This is one of the most well stocked and comfortable homes I have ever stayed. We arrived to a sweet welcome with so many goodies left by the host. Pamela was very responsive and made us feel right at home. We would love to return soon.

Pam, the owner, was easy to communicate with and prompt with a response about the ice maker. The home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable and had crisp linens. Bathrooms had great toiletries and plush towels. The kitchen was well stocked and she even left an amazing welcome package of snacks! I felt my two dogs were very welcomed; clean dog beds in every room, dog bowels and even dog toys!! The location is great; walk to the municipal park and pier. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The rental was amazing!

Oyster Shack Greatness!
I'm simply cannot say enough good things about the Oyster Shack. It was easy to find and check in. We found the place was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was more than well stocked. The beds were comfy. Little things go a long way - welcome gifts, soft and fluffy towels just to name a few. Oh and the extras in the garage - a beach lover's dream. No need to rent anything extra. I can't wait to stay at Oyster Shack again.

There ought to be an award for BEST HOST EVER!
I can't say enough good things about Pamela as a host! She truly goes the extra mile for her guests. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need and then some. Don't even get me started with the pet amenities...beds in every room, assortment of toys, treats, and even a pair of leashes and collars just in case you need them. Highly recommend checking out the Oyster Shack especially if you need a pet loving place to stay.
