Stay away, rude and agressive staff
Terrible experience at hotel Kriva Cuprija. First of all, you have to know that our room was very basic and the AC system is way to weak for Mostar temperatures. It was extremely warm all night in the room while the AC was full on.
But the worst happened with the staff...When checking-in, the reception insisted on the porter carrying our baggages from our car to the venue. The issue is that the porter walked directly on a public road (not on the side walk) with our bags and one of the bags got hit by a car. Luckily, only the luggage got hit, the porter was ok. As our bag was very damaged, we asked the staff if the hotel had an insurance so we could get it fixed or replaced. The receptionist we were talking to became very disrespectful and agressive and said that "he is very upset at us as we care about our luggage while we don't care how the porter feels about the incident". When understanding that the staff won't help, we asked to talk to the hotel manager. Her answer was even more chocking :"the hotel has no insurance for what happens outside of the hotel. Luggages are under client responsibility even when the hotel staff is taking care of them. If you have valuable pieces of luggage, you should have told our staff not to carry them ". Incredible to find such dishonest people... our 350€ luggage is destroyed and the best the manager could do was to "write a letter about the incident" so we can check with our personal travel insurance. Stay away from this terrible hotel !
