Brand new hotel residence and very clean rooms. Kitchen in the room is very convenient. Parking in the building parking structure for 18 Euros/night.

Great value! Very clean

My <1 year old child, wife and I travelled to Munich for 4-5 days, and stayed at Brera. It was a bit further away from the city center, but easy to access via public transportation and great value for what we paid. The laundry room is also well equipped, and the staff is very friendly. The entire building top to bottom was spotless! We would gladly return.

Double Check Operating Hours

The apartments are right next to a bus stop, which was very convenient. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you are looking to book, make sure you are arriving at a time when their office hours are open. We were flying in at 8am on a Saturday and asked if we could check in early or store our bags before the usual check-in time of 3pm. They told us we could store our bags, however there was no one in the lobby when we got there. We were forced to find a way to get around town with our luggage for about six hours before our check-in time.

The check-in process was very easy. The apartment is spacious and nice and the kitchen has everything you need. Having a supermarket and a bakery right outside is very convenient, as well as the tram and bus stop which are just a few steps away.

Pleasantly surprised by the apartment. It was clean and convenient to where we needed to be. Loved that there was a grocery store downstairs and a coffee shop. We enjoyed it and would consider staying here again should our travels bring us back to Munich

Property is in north Munich near the Olympic park. A number of tram stops are nearby and in walking distance with regular links to town. The host was in touch before our stay so we knew what to expect and we were greeted very warmly upon arrival. The room was nice and clean enoigh. Found rubbish left over from previous guest in bathrppm, tap on kitchen sink was wobbly and needed repairing, baseboards could be doing with a deep clean/dust but no major issues. Housekeeping were around regularly. There's a laundry room in the basement - it's 2.50 for washing machine and 2.00 for dryer. I would have expected this to be included in apartment service, or at least have washing supplies included and available in the washroom (had to buy washing powder and only done 2 washes - left the open packet in the apartment when we left so hopefully next guest got to use it). We had asked for a late checkout as we had a late flight and this was honoured - save a few miscommunications - so we were able to leave at 1pm instead of 11am. I know it was only 2 hours bit that extra bit of time was perfect. Supermarket right next door, McDonalds jist along the end of the road and a wee pub or 2 as well. There's not much happening in the area as it's residential with some businesses scattered around so pretty quiet (except for the trams and buses going up and down main road but the windows dampened the noise enough). I would certainly stay here again as it was only a few tram stops into town.

Forced to use an app that doesn't even work

To check in at this hotel, I was forced to download an app. I asked specifically if I can still check in without using the app and the hotel replied "you can use the app to check in". I am not even joking, this is their reply to my question. So unwillingly, I downloaded the app and registered, because it's not enough to make money from hotel business, they also have to have a cut on selling customer information to 3rd parties (yes Google Play Store literally says on this app's page). And on the date of arrival this joke of an app didn't even work. The booking and check-in was successful, but no key card could be generated, which means I couldn't get into the room. Eventually we had to call the helpline, and after a long time waiting, some security guard showed and let us into the room with a key fob. Even at this point we still couldn't get a key card. I am sorry but you don't deserve to receive anything more than 1 star (because there's no option to give 0 star).

Letztendlich hat mir der Aufenthalt gefallen. Es ist eine gute Alternative zu einem Hotel. Das Zimmer und Bad sind geräumig und waren perfekt sauber. Das ganze Apartment zu nennen ist etwas übertrieben. Es handelt sich um ein größeres Hotelzimmer mit Kleinstküche. Das Bett steht an der Wand und als Paar muss derjenige, der an der Wand schläft schon sportlich sein. Der so gewonnene Platz, wird auch nicht wirklich genutzt. Man könnte gut ein 2 Personen Schlafsofa unterbringen und so den Komfort erhöhen und für eine weitere Person Platz schaffen. Ich fand es auch nicht gut, dass die Ausweisnummer beim Online Check-in abgefragt wird, obwohl es nicht mehr vom Staat verlangt wird. Kreditkarte sollte reichen. Der manuelle Check-in vor Ort ist langwierig und nervig. Mir hat gefallen, dass eine Flasche Wasser, Kaffee und Spülmittel schon und alle nötigen Kochutensilien vorhanden waren. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war leider am Morgen enttäuschend.
