Being off season I didn't expect much both pools are outside so they were not ready to go yet nor the hot tub the beach is an absolute beautiful view from their balcony directly on the beach staff was pleasant and accommodating we had trouble with one room they immediately switched us to another room no complaints the reason you see the three star on cleanliness is because the first room hadn't severe urine odor from pets but they did switch it the next morning so truly the accommodation was perfect

The price was great. But you get what you pay for. The room was just ok. It just looks dirty in the hallways. Like real dirty. The wifi sucked, the pizza place there was never open. Parking is so so. The staff was ok I guess. This spot is for guys on a trip who don't plan on being in the room much. Overall, you can do better than the Tropical Seas if you are trying to stay on the beach.

I was overall pleased with my stay at the Tropical Sea hotel. The staff worked with me and was very friendly, room was very nice loved being able to park right infront of the hotel. Only real downside to the hotel was the hot tub was closed and thats something my wife and I look for in a hotel. Now onto Expedia. I booked through expedia because it was $20 cheaper a night, but they didn't nowhere throughout my whol reservation process tell me there was a pet fee. I looked up for pet friendly because we had our Toby with us. I booked reserved and when i got to Tropical Seas the gentleman(who was very nice) informed me of a pet fee of $74. I showed him the entire process of reserving a room on expedia for his hotel and showed it said nothing about fee. When i looked at my email where they had already charged me my 1st nights fee said that 1 pet under 40lbs would be a $65 plus tax fee. And i explained and showed the man at the front desk this and he said they give info to the 3rd parties and they dont control what they put on their pages. I thought that was crazy that they could have you rent a room and just not say anything about a fee. All i would say is if you are using a 3rd party call the hotel 1st and make sure about any fess they may have before you book through someone else.

My wife and I really did like it at first but then late at night we had found 2 roaches in the room and yellow stains on the bed sheets. Luckily we had 2 beds in our room so we had moved to the other bed. Other than that the rest of the stay was really good
