Great vacation!

We had a great time staying in Mystic! We were in the area for a dog competition, and this property was perfect for us. Full kitchen and a gorgeous yard. Our dogs got along great with sweet Bristol and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. We’d definitely stay again!

Cottage in the woods

Cottage was advertised as pet friendly and sleeps five. We booked for a family of 4. After booking, hidden fees for pet 75 dollars and 49 dollars extra per person over initial 2 popped up in messaging. Not cool, I would have not taken it if I knew upfront in ad. Otherwise house was clean and in beautiful location.

Home away from home!

Perfect accommodations, located a short distance from all of Mystic and the area’s attractions. The bungalow was sparkling clean upon arrival. The friendly, and pleasant owners supplied everything you need, including kitchen staples. And, a snack basket! The grounds are lovely, beautiful gardens and lots of room for my dog to romp. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the fireflies at night. Great stay!

Quiet Well-Kept Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a cute 1-bedroom apartment attached to the main house. Very homey feel. Kitchen is fairly well-stocked in terms of equipment and spices. Lots of towels and sheets. Comfortable bed.

Quiet neighborhood.

Comfortable in-law quarters with everything you need to relax, cook, or get away from town. Great place for our big dog to play in the yard. We had a great 5 day stay.

Poor communication with owners

The place was beautiful - just as listed BUT checking in was a bit of a fiasco. We realized on the way there we hadn’t received our email with the check in process- key code for the lock etc. when I reached out to the owner for the info - over an hour went by with no response - so we figured we’d just drive there - the listing said the owners live there - the rental is an apartment off the big house - so we get there and the place is dark - no one was home. So we drove back to town and called VRBO customer service and after about a half an hour- she was able to get through to the owner and have the email sent. I understand things like this happen but when we got back to the house - someone else was getting home - I’m assuming the owner and he didn’t even greet us or say anything about the delay in getting in. The next day we saw a woman raking- again assuming it was the owner and she said nothing about the late check in. We tried not to let all of that interfere with our opinion of the place but then came the noise from the main house through the bedroom door. It was the door that connects the apartment to the main house. Someone was hammering - seriously- from like 8 to 9:30 pm! So overall we loved the space, enjoyed our time with each other, ran each day on a beautiful path within walking distance to the house but not sure I’d stay again unless they have that door somehow sound proofed. Sorry to be a complainer but you pay a lot to stay somewhere nice - peace and quiet should be first priority!

Very clean, comfortable, quiet apartment

We liked this property alot and would recommend it. It was super clean, spacious with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and separate bedroom. Seemed to be a well-equipped in-law apartment, attached to the main house. It was roomy and comfortable, in a nice quiet secluded neighborhood, but easy to get to Mystic, Westerly, etc. A couple of nice wineries close by, too. Overall, a perfect base camp for day trips in the area, then comfortable to relax at the end of the day. We met the hosts when we arrived, they were very friendly and helpful in suggesting area attractions, restaurants, etc.

Clean and quaint stay close to Mystic

The bungalow was the perfect amount of space for use. We stayed for a week, and it really felt like home. Affordable and comfortable, with all the necessities. Our dog was welcome too, which was great bc we didn't want to leave him on a long trip. Our hosts were friendly and nice. We enjoyed how close this home was to all the great attractions (Mystic and Casinos). We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any friends traveling to Mystic.

This is a beautiful spot in Mystic.

We enjoyed so much about this spot. The lodging was comfortable and the setting ideal. Beautiful gardens and stone walls make this peaceful spot ideal. Our only glitch was finding after. we departed that the owner was surprised that we brought our pet. We can only surmise that somewhere between Vrbo and Red Awning the request was dropped. We felt horrible that the host did not know in advance . We spoke with her during our stay and it was not brought up. We pride ourselves on being good guests.

Great vacation

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the space and the ammenities provided. Nicely located near hiking trails and within 10 minutes drive to practically everything at Mystic. We highly recommend this property!
