We rented on a trip to island to support a grandchild and family's celebration of their grad. We wanted clean simple basic.
We got a ineptly managed room.
No electricity for most recepticles for forst 24 hours. including the 8 hour delay (8AM-4PM, getting a breaker reset so most receptacles incl the ones for CPAP TV, coffee maker could be used. and only after our reminder on the return to the unit after a long day.
According to staff the power had been out for previous occupant and had never been reset (breaker panel in next unit).
Sink and tub didn't drain and because of the power outage; the floor was wet from ice in mini fridge melted, soaking the carpet across the bottom of the bed. No attempt was made to sop it up by staff. Also obvious drawer pulled apart.
This episode is clear indication of a badly managed complex. Heidi, our contact was polite but didn't seem to care, based on what action she mobilized.
She didn't offer assurance any of these concerns would be sorted out. We asked that she refund the $75 cleaning fee and haven't heard from her since we left, apart from her request for a top (straight 5's) Rating.
