The house was very charming, with an authentic history that you can feel, down to the classic latch doorknobs. Still the house was tastefully appointed with the modern luxuries you'd associate high-end stay. An amazing chef's kitchen, an oversized dining room table, a cozy living room looking out over Monument Square. The primary bedroom was also huge, with an impressive en suite that included a walk-in shower and tub. We had 2 couples and 2 children, but the house easily sleeps 4 couples in the four rooms with larger beds, plus 6 kids in the remaining two rooms, including a 3rd floor attic style room with 4 single beds (and a bathroom) that the kids loved. The backyard was also a great sized space for being so close to town, which was less than a ten minute walk down Main St to reach all the restaurants and bars. The house's location at the top of Main St. also allowed for an easy drive out of town to do beaches, Cisco, etc. since you didn't have to deal with the congestion of driving through town. The host was extremely responsive, including letting us know about the 8 beach chairs and some kids' beach toys in the shed for us to use. Overall, the place exceeded all of our expectations and we'd be eager to return soon with an even larger group given how accommodating the house is. Highly recommend!
