I had my family and other visiting while our stay.
We were surprised to find:
A. Visible moving/.living ants around kitchen sink area and down the cabinet door.
B. Master Bedroom TV would not get connected to correct input or provider. Unusable.
C. Missing Smoke Alarm/Detector in Hallway
D. Leaking Water underneath refrigerator- had to wipe up several times per day. Slipped on the water on the white tile with my flip flops.
I am requesting full reimbursement of my rental fee and cleaning fee. Note 5 claims there was no report, well the report was given to your staff upon my arrival at my home in Illinois. The rental is not a hotel with some engineer on site to fix and bring things up to current safety expectations. I dont care if the items were fixed upon my list generated. That is a faulty rental agreement and no one should of been in that unit with all those issues happening. I rented the unit knowing I would have fully functioning toilets, no leaks in the unit, proper linens to use. I didnt pay for ants on the kitchen counters, but had them all over.
I paid for a unit to be in compliance with Florida rental codes for all working smoke detectors in the unit, to which they weren't.
Take all those issues away, and yes it would of been a great unit to rent again and come back to. But with what we had to experience, is just awful and never should of occured.
I am demanding full reimbursement of my rental agreement and cleaning fee.
