There are two glaring issues with this property:
1. The bedroom curtains are sheer and the orange street light shines through all night, not to mention how easy it would be for someone to see in when the bedroom lights are on.
2. The division between the other unit in the back part of the property is a thin, interior door (in our kitchen). We could see light from their unit under it, clearly hear them talking about the room game they were watching (while we were in the living room), and we could smell their cooking from our bedroom.
The listing also showed a back yard but there was no access to that aside from walking around the house next to the neighbor's house. Also, there were some nice amenities but it looked like a flipped house that was incomplete: painted over drywall anchors, painted paper towel stuffed in a hole in the wall where the thermostat used to be, and scuffs on the walls everywhere.
Finally, something chirped/alarmed in the back unit three times (twice in the middle of the night and once in the evening) that caused something in our unit to chirp in response (I'm guessing carbon monoxide detector but it was reading safe).
I would not stay again until they properly soundproof/seal the unit and add actual blinds or blackout shades to the bedroom.
