woman at front desk is terrible not friendly makes you feel like you are bothering her at check in because she is constantly browsing her computer or phone no help when she is asked a question any answer is short and terse we have seen her before because we have stayed here a few times also please get rid of plastic hand held shower heads

Great location

Even with the air conditioner on anything it never cool down in the room at all. It was so hot in there and no matter how you showered, water ran out into the bathroom floor

Fantastic as always

The stay was great as usual. Hope the water heater is fixed. Water wasn’t very hot. But they’re wonderful. The staff, the rooms, the service and breakfast are amazing.

Nice - but ...

The hotel is clean, modern and nicely appointed. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was polite and accommodating. BUT there was NO hot water. Apparently, the water heater failed prior to our arrival – although the staff knew this, no one told us when we checked in. We had to find out by taking a COLD SHOWER in the morning. When we checked out, I asked about some compensation for the lack of hot water and not being advised of it. The clerk was polite and wrote a note to her manager that was not on site. After having no further contact from the organization, I would have to rate the hotel as quite nice but their ethics seem questionable.

The Garland Hotel was very nice. The room was huge with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was very adequate. The carpet had a few stains by the door but carpet in the room was fine.
