When we arrived at this beautiful property I quickly decided I'd be okay to never leave. The architecture of this 1870's historical home was just stunning, and the decor was minimalistic and inviting.
The house invites you in with a cozy, plant-laden porch where I enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the people pass by. You step into a living room with a couch and chair and a large TV with images so crisp you feel like the people are in the room.
Next is a dining area where we had our meals and I worked from. The kitchen is the next room and was well stocked with cookware and spices, a dishwasher, toaster and single-cup coffee maker. I cooked dinner several times on the gas stove/oven and there were plenty of dishes/silverware for the four of us.
The next room is a bedroom, followed by a hallway with a bathroom and shower fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, towels, wash rags, blow dryer, etc.
The bathroom hallway connects the two bedrooms both with comfortable queen-sized beds, dressers, plenty of extra bedding/pillows/towels, as well as a laundry room.
I was there with my son and two of his friends as his graduation gift. The three teenage boys played video games in the front room well into the night and I was undisturbed with any of their music, laughter, etc. I couldn't even hear it!
The owner provides natural products for cleaning/bathing. Great location near lots of restaurants and short drive from most attractions. We felt safe & welcomed. Would stay again!
