Wonderful house! Clean as a new house. Kitchen is well stocked with glassware and tableware.Great location within walking distance to WW2 Museum, bus/trolleyto French Quarter. Host was friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely loved this home and the neighborhood is quiet with a few bars in walking distance. It was perfect for our weekend stay and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable which were a great bonus.
Everything we needed was supplied by this lovely home in a convenient location just a few blocks from the trolley and within walking distance to dining and coffee shops. The host is responsive and communication went well. The street is very busy but the bedrooms are located in the back so sleeping is peaceful on very comfortable beds. Thank you, Robert, for the dining recommendations, especially Cochon Cochon, Butcher which was our favorite!
My coworker friend and I needed a place to stay that was somewhat near a conference. We had decided to go last min and were worried we wouldnât find a nice place. We chose this due to proximity and price. First, it was very affordable! Second, we were absolutely shocked by how adorable it was. Even cuter than photos. It was extremely clean and they had everything there and ready for your stay such as coffee pods and creamer, they even had shampoo, body wash and conditioner. There is a washer and dryer available to use. There is a sweet front porch and a nice little back courtyard. It was only a few feet away from French Truck coffee where they remembered our orders every morning and the coffee is amazing. There are numerous restaurants within a half mile radius. I wish more people would talk about bed comfort in reviews. I need a soft bed for my old bones. These beds were a medium firm but I slept very well and comfortably. The owners are friendly and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend this rental. Only thing you should pay attention to in listing is that you walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and then to the next bedroom. This was fine for my friend and I because we have similar schedules. Also, the bathroom door has a lovely clear film but it doesnât offer tons of privacy if you need that. However, bedroom doors can be closed on either side making privacy pretty easy to manage. We absolutely loved our stay and I would book this again any time!
This property was absolutely spotless and in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. It had up-to-date furnishings and appliances, complimentary coffee, creamer, and tea, comfortable beds, and a great host who was quick to respond, accommodating, and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here and will be re-renting when I return to New Orleans.
We had a wonderful time, the house was beautiful & the host was responsive and kind. Great neighborhood & the location canât be beat!! Looking forward to returning someday.
First off the property was just as pictured, beautiful. The location was great for us, easy access to the Streetcar which took us down to the French Quarter several times. The weather was so beautiful we actually ended up walking down there a couple of times, about 1.5 miles. The French Coffee Truck just a few doors down was a nice treat every morning. Several restaurant options just a few feet away, so staying in definitely would not be a problem! If we make it back to NOLA, I hope to stay here again!
This house is PERFECT. I had a conference at the convention center (quick 10 min walk) and otherwise had easy access to all of the neighborhoods I wanted to visit, the street care, 2 museums, the quarter, all of magazine street. the house is SO charming, kitchen really well stocked. Cant say enough. I'd be delighted to come back!
Our family was in town for our daughters' volleyball tournament at the convention center. This was a great location for walking to and from the tournaments, as well as for popular sites around NOLA! The owners were very helpful with advice, answering questions, and accommodating our need to store luggage prior to arrival time and after departure time to better fit our flight schedule. We would definitely stay here again!
This rental was amazing for my daughter and I's stay in New Orleans! We were close to lots great restaurants and public transportation. The space was cozy and perfect for resting and relaxing in.
A wonderful shotgun style home right in the Garden District. Walking distance to the French Quarter, Canal Street, the WWII museum, and Saint Charles Ave and its streetcar line. The house has everything you may need. I will definitely try to book it again the next time Iâm in town.
We loved our stay during Mardi Grau! The location is awesome with being able to walk so many places. The property is exquisite, and the owners were perfect in their communication! Iâve bookmarked this place for another stay in the future!
We loved the location as it was just far enough away from all the busyness but close enough to walk to whatever we wanted. Thank you for a great place to stay.
We had an excellent stay during Super Bowl. The price and location was EXCELLENT. The location is convenient to a lot of restaurants and nightlife. The home was as pictured. It was very clean and well stocked. The shower was amazing. They had the best shower head and warm water. The beds were comfortable and clean. The place was just as pictured on the photos. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly.
The only con is parking. There is no dedicated parking for this home. There is ample street parking, however if you want to park close to the home you have to be strategic with your coming and going.
Overall great stay!
We stayed in January with unseasonably cold weather. As to be expected with a older place, it was drafty with hot and cold spots, but available space heater helped. Should have guessed but it is a "shotgun" house meaning you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, which was a bit inconvenient. Great kitchen and the single bathroom has an updated walk-in shower, but it is very small. Only street parking, which was difficult to find near the house at times (occasionally had to park up to 2 blocks away).
