I booked an additional night, went to the lobby and signed the check-in form and received the key. A few hours later the employees started opening my door and calling saying they didn’t receive payment. The manager was quite aggressive and unpleasant even though I told her I had both my payment receipt and my bank statement showing that I paid. She was quite unhinged. I had hotels.com call the hotel and tell her that I paid for the night and everything was ok. The management seems like they don’t know what they are doing and were very unpleasant. I changed hotels for the rest of my trip to New Orleans. Don’t upset the manager!!!! You’ve been warned!

It was just ok. Hotel wasn’t as cool as I thought it would be. Not very many amenities on site such as common area to hang out during the day after walking the French quarter etc.

Not impressed

Office staff were nice. Hotel overall needs to be deep cleaned. Window to deck broken, would not stay open, and the glass was falling out of the frame. Asked for housekeeping one of the four days we stayed there. Beds made old towels picked up but no new towels or coffee replaced/refilled. Location was convenient but I would not stay here again. Quality of the hotel not worth the price.

The pictures they have on their website are very misleading. This room was run down and not very clean. The check in was at 4 which I find rediculous considering the condition it was in. The only positive thing i can say about this property is the location is close to all the touristy spots.

Beautiful place! Nice rooms! Great location! The rudest checkin experience I have ever had! We arrived around noon and our rooms were not ready! She said should be ready around 2:00 and they would call us! Check in is at 4:00, which is fine but at 4:03 I was told to be patient! After no communication except typing without talking, mumbling under his breath, and flat out verbal assaults! Such a lovely place ruined by one person who should not be there! I won’t waste any more time explaining it but I hope the owners try it out for themselves! 4:00 check in is not a problem but a rude, careless attitude, is unacceptable, I hope they fix that, we would love to return! Everyone else was really great! One man is ruining this experience! I cannot be the only one!

This was my first visit to New Orleans so i wasnt quite sure what to expect. Check in was a little crazy but other than that we enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean and the beds were comfy. They have a nice courtyard pool area and coffee bar in the morning. It is easy to walk to most places downtown. Nothing fancy, but still nice enough.

We booked The Dauphine Orleans for the location, and then got excited to read it was “haunted”. We did not have any experiences, and the hotel was clean, and so conveniently located one block over from bourbon and walking distance to the French market, Frenchman’s street, literally anywhere you wanted to go was a 10 min walk or less! The staff was extremely friendly. Checking in and out was a breeze, and we chose to valet park, but there is a public lot within walking distance from the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff were super friendly and helpful with small needs, but the building is definitely old and in need of some work. My TV would turn on spontaneously in the middle of the night and needed to be unplugged (this could be part of the “haunted” appeal). The mattress was old and uncomfortable having person sized depressions. The bathroom ceiling light fixture began pouring water in the middle of the night that woke me up and there was nothing done to stop it (or switch rooms), staff seemed unfazed when I called them in the middle of the night and again the next morning. Though it’s a great location to walk to/from in the French quarter. I don’t think I’d recommend staying here.

Half the staff was welcoming and the other half was just collecting a check. The location was good but one block from bourbon, so if you're looking for a good night's rest, this place is not for you. The biggest issue I have, is that i was overcharged 3 times during my stay. I alerted the front desk and she asurred me, that I would be refunded upon checking out. I was told it would be 5-7 business days. Its been 10 and the manager has not contacted me although I requested it.
