5-stars from check-in to check-out. Although the blizzard in New Orleans shut down the entire city for 2 days, the staff made sure every guest had everything necessary. A special shout-out to Semaj & Ta Tiana, Ross, Desaree, Moon, Aura, and the wonderfully talented chefs. They all kept their sense of humor and utmost professionalism during a very challenging time. Our room was clean, well appointed, & spacious. The Cafe, Peacock Lounge, & Kings restaurant were all excellent. Kimpton is the only place we’ll stay and we’re looking forward to going back there for JazzFest in May.

Our room was fabulous, and the staff is amazing! I wish I could remember everyone's name who helped us, Martin was terrific! The Peacock Room was a great bonus on top of it all, as well as the easy access to all different areas of the city. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you all for the most wonderful stay!

Whilevit did not effect me, there is a real issue with the showers allowing so much water to get on floor and wall at opening. The floors became wet and slippery, so the possibility that a guest might slip and fall and injury himself seems very likely. You need to address and place full doors on shower area, and at same time place an exhaust fan in bathroom. RWS

Good hotel in perfect spot

The room is spacious, clean, and features a very comfortable bed, perfect for resting. However, the water-saving shower has such low water flow that it becomes uncomfortable and takes a long time to shower. We reported it, and while the staff was very willing to help, no solution was possible as it’s a standard feature of the hotel. On the other hand, the bar and food are of excellent quality and taste, though the menu could be more diverse. Despite these details, it’s definitely a recommendable experience.
