It was a nightmare

It was truly bad. When we reached the hotel, the guy at the desk told us that the key system was not working so if we needed to leave the room someone will need to come and lock the door for us and when we came back to the room someone will need to open it for us. And, oh, the elevator was also not working. So you still want to check in, sir? I said no but all's me talk to hotel.com first because half of my payment was in the form of the OneBuck that hotel.com has rewarded me for using the app over several previous bookings made through the app. I was told that the hotel would not give me a refund even though it was the hotel's own fault that we could not stay there. I am still talking with hotel.com to see if they would reimburse me the award bucks at least. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but if they don't refund me this award bucks I'm never going to use this app again.

Place is run down and poorly maintained. Rusted tubs, pain missing. Paint on mirrors. Just not a very nice place and not on par with other la Quinta hotels I have been at.

I feel like this place was “cleaned up” for Super Bowl and was still really bad. Room laminate floors were dirty, bathroom had hair on the floor, bathroom floor mat had black on it when we flipped it over.

Be aware of this hotel

Worst La Quinta I've stayed at. Room 139 I couldn't get unto my room with the keys given. I had to ask someone to let me in. Rust in the bathtub. Room smelt moldy. Hardly any breakfast selection.

DO NOT STAY HERE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I cannot tell you how bad our experience was at this hotel. Checked into a dirty room, unmade from the previous guests before being given a room with a broken door. The last room had a broken TV, broken tap, no cold water and one towel for two adults Prostitutes were walking around the hotel, all lifts broken and horrendous threatening 'service' from the night staff.

Rented a room for 2 nights during the Super Bowl for 2039.00! This property is dilapidated. Our room and mattress smelled like urine with stained bedding. We kept the door open most of the time to handle the smell. The elevators didn't work and we were on the top 3rd floor. We had to change rooms because the smoke detector wouldn't stop chirping after replacing the battery. The 2nd room had to have the cable box and remote replaced. Room keys never worked even after rekeying them. However, very helpful understanding staff! DO NOT STAY HERE!

the staff is responsive and helpful. but other than the staff, the Inn itself is so rundown and pretty nasty of a place. The room is dirty, smells of mold, carpet has so much stains on it (make sure you bring a slipper), hot water didn't work one morning, key cards stopped working every night (staff was always present to fix it though, but just annoying). Bed was actually decent, although sheets also had stains. I would definitely not stay here next time and would much prefer to pay extra for a nicer accommodation.

Didnt have a good experience at all. Came in for the super bowl and my sheets had nasty stains all on them. Called for them to change it and was assured it would happen. Came back 5 hours later and no one had done anything. New shift came on and the late night guy was great and did help us. The next morning house keeping came by. We asked if they could come back in a little as we were about to leave. They said yes and never came back. It was pretty filthy upon arrival and seeing that our second night was our last night we chose to leave new orleans at 10pm to drive for 5 hours rather than sleep in that hotel room again. A collosal waste of money with over inflated prices are they were taking advantave of the weekend charging 400 a night for a place id be shocked if they charged more than 50 a night on a regular day
