Can not believe this was a La Quinta Inn.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in which was unfortunate as I usually like La Quinta Inn as a rule. The room was filthy with stains all over, even chips all over the carpet. The curtains were ripped and stained, we found what i chose to believe was hand cream down the nightstand. The door looked as though it had been broken into. There was water damage all over the room and even the towel racks were all broken. The one plus was the location.

This place needs to be overhaul!

I stay here when in town visiting my kids are just coming to see friends in my home city, Hotel definitely needs upgrades, room walls need to be clean they littered with all kinds of things from previous guest I took a towel and wiped some spilled water off the floor and the towel turned midnight black, it’s really dirty and unsanitized. I asked house keeping to drop me off some towels and they never did and this has happened on a few of my stays. Honestly I don’t think I’ll be returning to this property and I’m normally there at least twvice a month they know me very well. It really needs to be shut down and redone, Oh yeah and ice machine has been broken for at least a year sitting in the middle of the hotel for nothing and the area it’s in is litered and filthy.

False advertising at it finest!!!

The absolute worst. Filthy and smells like urine. The beds only had sheets on it and they were dingy white. The dingy white curtains were hanging up wrinkled and looked like a towel after drying a car. Driving up to the room people were hanging outside all around. I immediately ran to my car and went got my money back. To funny part is the clerk didn’t ask no questions like she already knew and stated I would get it back in 7/10 days.

First the number of street people I saw begging for money, my room has such a bad and pungent odor that when I returned home my clothes had the worse smell; people outside on the stairwell smoking weed. Dingy looking towels. Please update your check out times online and your documents. Says noon but it’s 11am.

Almost satisfactory

Room was ok, but the bed skirt had stains. The tub had cigarette Burns where someone apparently was sitting on the toilet smoking and placing their cigarette on the tub. Clean sheets, pillowcases. Really other than the stained bed skirt and the cigarette Burns. The room was fairly clean. The biggest convenience was the free parking and shuttle to the cruise terminal.

I’m nothing short of APPALLED that hotels like this even exist in this day and age. Having stayed at other La Quinta locations, I expected a CLEAN, COMFORTABLE room to lay my head for the night. Well, the room was FILTHY, having blood and OTHER bodily fluid stains EVERYWHERE from the comforters to the pillows to the rugs, and even the walls were not spared. Hair from previous patrons coated the bathroom sink, and even were found on the bed (GROSS). A/C did not function properly and the shower was both cold and terrible water pressure. Of course the telephone was disconnected, so couldn’t inform reception of this mess but to walk over in person. Couldn’t care less and offered no solution. Then upon returning to the room, my room key NO LONGER worked, and had to return to reception to have it activated. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED in my 30yrs and 100’s of hotel stays.

You don’t always get what you pay for!

The property is run down and in desperate need of repairs! The only bright spot was that our smoke detector needed replacing and they responded very quickly to that request.

Nothing really unique about this place you get what you pay for. Its noisy walls are thin. And you hear the highway. Breakfast the doors were locked they didn't seem interested in opening up I just went to get hot water and ice doors were locked behind me again so when I went back couldn't get in.

bad for a La Quinta

Needs updated terribly. Ended up with 2 bug bites in the morning and slept with socks on. Needs major upgrade. I just needed to sleep for 1 night so I survived.

If I could give zero stars, I would! There were burn marks in all the chairs and my law enforcement husband said what we were smelling was meth and fentanyl. One bed was missing a top sheet, so the dirty duvet was placed directly on the bottom sheet. The other bed was missing a blanket entirely. We also were short several towels. When we went into the bathroom, everything was obviously old, falling apart and very discolored (which is fine), but the toilet was covered in pool speckles. We called the front desk to have them come and clean the bathroom. One guy came with a spray bottle and a rag. He “wiped” the inside of the toilet (and not a speckle of poop was removed) and then proceeded to take the poopy rag and wipe it all over the counter. We asked him to not use the same rag and he didn’t speak English and just gave us a thumbs up. When we went to check in initially, the paper they gave us said our checkout was 12AM. I clarified what our time actually was and they said 12PM. This morning at 11 housekeeping knocked and said we were late on checkout! The front desk luckily dismissed the fears—and the front desk was always as kind as they could be. We were lucky we booked this hotel 11 months ago at a “decent” rate, but with it being Super Bowl weekend, someone at breakfast said they paid $800 to stay at the same hotel! I’m bothered we even paid what we did. We’ve stayed at MANY La Quintas and Wyndham properties over the years and was expecting MUCH, much more.

To call this place a dump wouldn't do it justice, the lobby smelled like a dingy smoke filled bar, the room smelled similarly. The shower leaked that could be heard throughout room, one of the chairs seat was covered in burn spots, the bed sheet was placed on top of the comforter, there were no USB outlets , no way to turn off the two lights between the beds so I had to unscrew each bulb.
