Went Valentines Day weekend. Really good location. Nice room. Didn’t need an UBER for a thing save airport transfer. Nice courtyard. Noise, even with proximity to bourbon, not an issue at all.

The staff at the front desk and the bell hops were so welcoming and friendly! I felt like I was with family. The room was gorgeous and much more beautiful than it looks in the photos. The housekeeping service was excellent. The location is superb! I felt safe walking to nearby restuarants at night, even by myself. I'm coming back!

Place d'Armes was the ideal location for getting around in the French Quarter and greater NOLA in general. Fantastic hotel, clean, safe, and great location.

Hotel has a very good location, near Jackson Square. Excellent restaurant next door. Our room was large, but a little dim. On the first floor, our room looked directly out to the next street, so we could not open the drapes.

We have stayed here several times over the past 25 years, from a couple nights on our honeymoon to just having celebrated our 25th anniversary there. I wish I could give a bad review just so it doesn't get more popular, but this property is truly a gem. I don't think I have ever left a hotel review before, but the staff at the Place d'Armes are so great and the setting so perfect I feel compelled to. Have always had friendly service and a wonderful stay. The courtyard is a magical oasis when you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the quarter. Walk half block to the St. Louis Cathedral (Mass is at 12:05, and you could leave your room at 12 and make it) & Jackson Square, a block and a half to Cafe du Monde or the middle of Burbon Street, two and a half blocks to Pat O Brien's. I stayed at a large hotel on Canal once for a conference. That other hotel on Canal was a decent walk to all our favorite haunts, and it lacked any of the charm of the quarter (I felt like I could have been in any big hotel in any major US city). I'm sure there are other locations in the quarter that are similar, and depending on your interests might be slightly closer to them, but as long as the Place d'Armes is there, it's where I will stay. Always. Thank you all for another wonderful stay!

Stayed in a King Deluxe room. Very beautiful. Loved staying in a historic building. Staff was attentive and friendly. The courtyard was peaceful. Convenient location. My only complaint was the water pressure of the shower but understandable in such an old building.
