I was able to see both the beach and Mount Taranaki from my room. The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food was good, though some might find it over priced.

Best of New Plymouth
Located right on the waterfront across the road from the coastal walkway. You won’t find a better location. Walkable to many close by restaurants & bars along with the shopping street. Parking on site which can get full but there are options that the hotel can kindly provide. On site Salt restaurant. Friendly staff.

We had the penthouse so one of the best rooms and as you would expect it's well appointed like a mini apartment, with everything you need. Very comfortable. But parking at Millennium is limited and first come first served, so if you go out at night don't expect to get one, I probably wont be back, it's just annoying. Have stayed there 3 times but parking is important to me

Staff at the hotel v friendly and helpful. Lighting in room v dull but improved when we asked for extra lamp and bulb to be fixed. Comfortable quiet room near town and boardwalk, we enjoyed our stay.
