This condo is GREAT. The location is PERFECT, the kitchen is STOCKED with tons of appliances, which came in super handy, especially during COVID. I would DEFINITELY stay in this condo again, but if I had the opportunity, I would HIGHLY suggest the owner switches property management companies away from Ocean Properties & Management, Inc.
List of problems with Ocean Properties & Management, Inc.
1. We were given the keys to the condo right at 4PM (check-in time). We walked into a dirty condo and had to wait for the maids to be called and then had to wait for them to clean the entire condo. We were told it would “only take 20 minutes”, which is completely unacceptable during COVID. When the maid was leaving, she told us we would be receiving more linens on Monday morning and we never heard from them again.
2. The refrigerator was not working the first night we were there. The emergency number on the paperwork was the number for the closed office which went straight to voicemail. We finally found the maintenance man’s number and it turned out to be an After Hours Answering Line. The operator was very nice, but did not have any solutions for our perishable foods.
3. The condo comes with a storage unit, but none of the paperwork explains where the storage unit is or what the code was to get into the unit. We called Ocean Properties & Management, Inc. and they were not able to tell us where the unit was or what the code might be.
4. When checking-in, we received a parking pass for one car and we were told to park our second car in any of the guest spots. Two days into our trip, we went into the parking lot and saw our second car had been towed. After speaking with the Sea Coast Garden’s office, they confirmed Ocean Properties & Management, Inc. should have given us a written guest pass to place in the dashboard of the car. After retreating the car from the impound lot, we went to the Ocean Properties office and we were told the reimbursement check we requested would be ready the next morning. We went into the office 48 hours later and we were told the check was not ready, but to come back the next day. While we did received a reimbursement check eventually, this should have never happened.
Again, the condo is PERFECT.. Ocean Properties & Management, Inc. is not….
