If you re looking for great value, clean hotel with a good breakfast then its perfect. No resort fee's either like other NY hotels which compensates for the following- Windows aren't soundproofed like we have had staying in other NY hotels. AC unit is kinda noisey, but it drowns out the outside noise ! You get used to it though. Tip ! Worth pre paying breakfast through Expedia and paying extra for high floor. Daily House keeping was excellent.

It’s definitely worn down. There was a screw sticking out of our floor that was a hazard, and the carpets were really dirty. The air conditioner is either off or really loud and blasting freezing air, no in-between. There was also a smell in the room that wasn’t great and some hairs in the bathroom when we showed up. The saving grace is the location, as it’s walkable to pretty much everything. Not sure I’d stay here again.

There was a roach in the lobby the we checked in, the rooms didn't feel dirty but very ruined down, teared drapes, scratched painting in the door and walls and stained carpets. Service was friendly, better than other times we have stayed there but it's our last time there. the elevators broke down ( both) one night for over 8 hours and we had a room on the 20th floor. We didn't go out because of that and talked to other guests that had to climb the stairs to get to their rooms.

Arrived at 6:30 request a double room received a king ask for a rollaway never received it finally at 12:30 am lorraine gave us a double room she could not understand why it was not done when we arrived. Only 1 wash cloth and 2 towels mold on the ceiling in bathroom

Requested a double bed room got a king requested a roll away bed when we arrived never received we arrived at hotel at 7pm finally got a double bed room at 12:30 am. Elevator was not working had to wait as long as 5 minutes for the one that worked the first room we got only had 1 washcloth and had mold on ceiling in bathroom

One elevator bank was down for a day making long wait times. The front desk staff was wonderful especially on check in and meeting our needs in the city. I accompanied a student checking into school and the staff was extremely helpful after I had to board my train home.

The location is ok. The place is clean and staff is friendly. My big complaint is the noise the A/C units make. The first room we were in (1203) had an A/C so loud it would wake us up anytime the compressor kicked in. This , along with the street noise made sleep difficult. The hotel moved us to room 2106 with no problem the next day. Street noise was very low, but once again the A/C was very loud. It was like trying to sleep next to a cement truck. Booth rooms were very plain, but clean. I would hesitate to stay again, or recommend.
