Would stay again, hotel was clean, beds comfortable, great location. Felt safe, easy access to subway. Two complaints- room got very hot at night, unable to adjust thermostat, but we cracked the window, let it cool off and closed it back bc the street noise is a lot (New York never sleeps) - only 2 working elevators for 20 floors, often had to wait for elevator

The location of this hotel is great. But our room was so disgusting. We've never stayed in worse place. Couldn't sleep here either, the heating unit was extremely loud. Everything in the room was so beat up and unclean.

The lobby of the property was wonderful but our rooms were super dated and beat up. It’s very convenient and the ability to park close by at a discounted rate was a bonus. The biggest issue I had was their check in process. We came in earlier and pre registered and were told we would get a text when the room was ready but check in was at 4. We went in with our day and came in after 5 to an extremely long line of 30 (line was going out the front door) folks trying to check in and with only two folks working the counter. Even though I previously checked in I had to stay in the crazy line. When I got to the counter I was told they over booked the room we paid for. They ended up getting us situated but only after a bunch of back and forth. I know we were there during the busy holiday season but for a hotel that size I would expect it to be better staffed and prepared. That made it very stressful.

For the most part hotel was decent. The elevators were horrible. Even housekeeping let us use the service elevator because they knew how bad the elevators were. When we got to our room there was a piercing noise coming from the bathroom. No way to call the front desk so called housekeeping said they would get someone as soon as they could. Waited for a bit then call maintenance they came up about 20 mins after we called. Rotted the toliet and then had to come back to change something in the tank to stop the noise. Remote didn’t work, nobody ever fixed that.

Hotel was very crowded and not enough staff working. Our bathroom didn’t have towels. Our friend’s room was also missing towels. The bedding was very good but overall condition of hotel was tired and not well maintained.

there was NO air conditioning, the staff said, open the windows to get cold air in the room and i was to close windows when it got to cold enough. the air conditioning box was not working. in addition, there wasnt an air vent in tbe rest room. thirdly, no clothes hooks, but managed to hang clothes around the closet door frame.

Room was falling apart. I had to go down to the front desk to let them know l because I was worried they would’ve have thought I broke things or damaged the room. Mirror in bathroom was broken, wallpaper peeling, lamp broken, window shades broken.
