The room was spacious for an NYC hotel room. There were plenty of restaurants within a walkable distance and the metro was very close. The staff was efficient and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The only reason for my terrible rating is that I felt cheated by the destination fee. Upon arrival, I was informed that I would be charged $25 per day as a destination fee, but I could use it as a credit for food and beverage services and a few other amenities, as explained on a small card given to me with my room key. However, they never mentioned that any unused credit would be forfeited at the end of each day. This important detail was also not stated anywhere on the card. I assumed the credit from the destination fee would accumulate, so I decided to use it on my last night at the bar. But to my surprise, they only applied $25 as my credit and took away all the unused credits from previous days. As a result, I had to pay extra for my bar tab, even though I had expected to use my accumulated credit for it.

Great, Hard Parking

This was a great experience. It took me a long time to decide on a hotel, but I'm glad Residence Inn was the best option for me. Breakfast and free laundry was the selling point for me personally. I purchased an executive king suite, it did not have a stovetop but it had a microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Little amenities like a toaster, hot water electric kettle, and an ice machine in the freezer were great. Good amount of storage and the bed was comfortable. I would say that Marriott Bonvoy was great to work with as far as service, professionalism, and communication. Parking is difficult as I rented a car and only commercial vehicles can park anywhere near the hotel until 7p after that until 7a you can park for free. You have to get up early move the car or you will get a ticket but the good thing is u get an early bird special for $30 until it's time to get free parking again. Free parking the weekend. Incidental fee is 30/night but they take it out of the hold. Definitely book the hotel but get executive and up imo.

Fantastic hotel stay! Loved the room & what came with it was more than expected! Great morning breakfast & wonderful bar area with great bar tender. Everyone that works there including the entrance guard super friendly!
