This apartment is in a lovely location, blocks from the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and with time and effort it could be a good place to stay.
Unfortunately the apartment wasn't at all ready to be rented out when I was there. The lock box to get in was stuck, and took effort, a broken fingernail, several phone calls with the property manager, and help from another lodger to open it and retrieve the key.
A skylight had been left open four or five inches and wasn't reachable, letting in cold air from the north sea for the first 20 hours I was there. There were no directions for how to use things like the thermostat and radiators, and they were hard to figure out, so most of the time the apartment was 15-16 degrees C, until the manager came the second day to close the skylight.
There was little hot water--no hot showers, no hot water in the kitchen sink, and only a thin stream of hot water to fill up the bathtub part way.
The information I had been given for the internet was incorrect and although I texted with the manager about this it took time and effort to find a way to connect with it; eventually I found a way on my own.
And there was no trash bin in the kitchen.
A few of these problems might have been okay, but together they were too much, compounded by the fact that it was Easter and the property manager lived too far away to come help until the second day.
I've asked for a partial refund to compensate for the stress of this stay, but haven't heard back.
