Been to Aruba about 6 times over the years. I have stayed everywhere from Eagle Beach condos, Palm Beach hotels, and short term rentals. This by far has been the best place we have stayed at.
Located in the high end area of the island in Noord, it is close to everything. Not walkable so you will need a car. 4 wheel drive even better as there are great trails on the island. Distance not a problem as there are plenty of beaches like 5 to 10 minutes away to chose from.
House is well appointed, spacious, and fully airconditioned. Plenty of dishes, glasses, Mr Coffee and Keurig. You do have to be mindful of your electric and water consumption as they give you a $20 a day consumption credit. If you go over you will need to pay for the overage. We stayed for 7 days and it totaled $110, which was below the $140 credit. Key is to turn off AC or turn it up to 30 degrees Celsius when you go out.
Also close bedroom doors and turn their ac off when you are in main living area. We slept with it at 23 degrees Celsius which was real nice. Couldnt imagine if you left everything running that it would be super expensive.
Pool was awesome. About 4-5ft deep. Not heated but sun heats it up so it is nice. Plenty of covered space so you dont get sunburned or you can lay out in sun on plenty of loungers.
The property Management company was great. Smaller company run by husband and wife, Alex and Rosie. They were quick to address any questions during the stay. They meet you at the house and walk you through everything in the house. Then at check out to see how everything went. I have rented a lot of short term rentals in different countries and in the states, but they were by far the best in service, friendliness, and communications.
I would definitely rent this unit, if available, next stay. The beach and Palm Beach restaurants are close by but your not in the hoards of people (unless you want to go over and be in the action) and you have your own private pool. Plus its a lot cheaper than the high rise hotels. Family had a great time.
