We greatly enjoyed our stay in the Dolphin suite at the Beachfront Getaway! The condo is very spacious, equipped with all the basics, and convenient location for lots of sightseeing!! The beachfront access is perfect with beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The owners were reachable about accommodations and very welcoming to our stay.

Amazing stay!!!
The property owners are actually the neighbors of this property. They were very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule and made sure we had a place to sit out of the heat until our rental was ready. Messages were responded to within minutes. The house was modern and very clean! Probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The street was very safe and perfect for families with children. All the basic necessities were provided. I cannot overstate how perfect the location and the property was. This side of the ocean had calm waters, again perfect for small children and kayaks, which we used extensively.

Our girls trip getaway was everything we were hoping for! The condo was very clean and offered every amenity we needed. We enjoyed the private beach, beach chairs and umbrellas. There was more debris on the beach than anticipated but the city did have equipment trying to pick it up. That would not prevent us from returning again to Norfolk. Rick & Merlyn are the perfect host & hostess! We highly recommend this condo!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at your stunning beachfront vacation rental, and I wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for providing such an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with elegant and comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were stocked with plush towels and high-quality toiletries. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We particularly enjoyed the open-concept living area, where we spent our evenings relaxing and taking in the breathtaking ocean views. The board games were great. The private beach access was a true highlight of our stay. The secluded stretch of beach with its calm waves provided the perfect setting for our daily activities. Our children were thrilled with the variety of beach toys available, from the paddle board, kayaks, chairs, to the sandcastle building kits. We spent hours playing in the sand and surf, knowing we had all the equipment we needed for a fun and safe experience. In summary, our stay was perfect. Thank you for helping us create lasting memories with our family. Can’t wait to return.

We had a great week staying at Big Blue! The owners checked in on us and made the arrival and departure very easy. They even made a special visit to help latch a stubborn window! Beautiful property and very clean. Easy to get to the beach and attractions. Highly recommend!

Great property and hosts
The property was quite clean and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Very easy access to the beach. One note on accessibility: The ramp and stairs to the beach need improvement to be safe for folks with ambulatory issues. My dad struggled with it and almost fell, so he couldn't go up and down alone. Normal stairs with railings are fine for him. I brought this up with the hosts. They were sympathetic and said they would work to make it safer for others.

A true gem!
My family stayed at Big Blue for the weekend and it was fabulous! The listing is accurate—the home is clean (spotless!), spacious, comfortable, and steps from the water (with great views from inside). Games (for indoors and outdoors) are provided along with plenty of beach gear. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We were also thrilled to be able to bring our dog—it was wonderful to have quality, pet-friendly accommodations! The whole process for the trip was seamless and we look forward to visiting again—hopefully soon!

The unit was spotless when we arrived and smelt great! Pictures are very accurate and owners very accommodating! Literally steps from the beach which was great for our 5 and 6 year olds. The location of the home gives a private beach feel. Would 100% stay again!

Very nice property. Our only suggestions would be having a small kitchen vacuum available to clean all the sand. Property was very clean and decorated very nicely. Owners are always available and respond promptly with any questions. We all enjoyed our time on the beach and loved that it was just us on the beach most of the time . Would definitely go back again!

The house was just as described and very large. It had all the comforts of home and very comfy beds. Being right on the beach was great and having beach supplies onsite made packing much easier. The home was very clean and loved that there was coffee and snacks. The owners were great to work with and got back to me very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
