Went on a golfing trip with a couple of buddies and rented a nice 3BR condo managed by VACASA. After a 4 hour ride from Gastonia, NC and a round of golf, we were ready to check in, grab a shower and go have dinner. When we got to the condo, we were not able to get in as the entry code had not been sent to me only the door code for the condo.No problem I thought, I'll just call their Customer Service number. After being told that my call was very important to them several times as I continued to hold, my call was cut off. This happened 2 more times. By now I was less than believing my call was important and then on the 4th try, someone answered. By now, roughly 30-40 minutes had passed.
I explained my situation to the person on the phone who told me the info would be in my packet in the room.....she had trouble grasping the fact that we COULDN'T OPEN THE OUTSIDE DOOR!! I finally got through to her and was put on hold while see contacted someone else. She finally came back on the line and told me I would have to call another number to get the entry code. The number she gave me was to a discount ticket vendor who had no idea how to get into the building!!
So now we're looking at 3 extremely frustrated, tired and hungry guys who have been standing in a parking garage for close to an hour trying to get inside.
Finally a car pulled in and I told the folks my story. They had a code! Supposedly the same issue had happened with them the day before.
