We got off to a bad start with zero communication from the property manager until I had contacted both the owner and the management company several hours after our arrival. I had messaged several weeks out and then one week in advance and followed all instructions about reaching out to them via Whatsapp beforehand. I sent questions to the owner via VRBO as well to help me know what to bring but Don never answered. Communication was lacking.
Overall the unit is a bit weary but it was exceptionally clean and adequate for our stay. Amenities could be provided to assist with guest comfort (shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee,etc) - a bit of extra effort would make a difference. I burned my hand badly after microwaving a mug - only non-microwaveable mugs in the unit.
The seal on the stove is gone so using it makes the unit hot (not a huge deal, the AC works pretty well but the master bedroom is notably hotter than the other rooms), the dishwasher was completely broken - we tried using it the first night and it leaked so much (and pieces inside were disassembled so my husband put it back together), we just washed our dishes by hand. The second bedroom had numerous scented products in it (air freshener and dryer sheets under the beds) and I had to remove them) as my kids were sneezing from the perfume.
Sandra, the cleaner, was there when we arrived and she was very welcoming and pleasant - clearly an asset on the team.
The kids enjoyed the pool every day and the property was lovely.
