La parfaite escapade d'Adirondack! Baignade! Bicyclette! Poisson! Ski! Se détendre!

Sortez par la porte d'entrée et vous pourrez pêcher, nager, flotter, faire du vélo, faire de la randonnée ou simplement vous détendre dans une chaise Adirondack en face de la rivière Sacandaga. Asseyez-vous sur le pont et regarder les aigles et les balbuzards plongée pour les poissons! Marcher cinq minutes pour la gauche et voir les chutes d'eau à proximité! Notre maison est située sur la rivière Sacandaga, à la pointe du lac Great Sacandaga, où vous pouvez également passer une journée sur l'eau. La ville pittoresque de Northville est à 5 minutes en voiture et a de nombreux restaurants et boutiques. Nous sommes idéalement situés à côté du parc des Adirondacks et le sentier Northville-Placid pour la grande randonnée. Cette maison de vacances unique est aussi une escapade hivernale. À quelques minutes du lac Lapland pour le ski de fond et à proximité de Gore, Royal et Oak Mountains pour le ski alpin ou le snowtubing! La maison est située entre 2 lacs pour la pêche sur glace et la motoneige. Il est à seulement 45 minutes en voiture du lac George et Saratoga Racetrack.
Il s’agit d’une jolie maison en bois qui apporte la sensation des Adirondacks à votre espace de vie. Réchauffez-vous en face de la cuisinière à gaz télécommandé! Au premier étage, il ya un concept ouvert cuisine entièrement équipée et un salon. Il y a aussi une chambre principale et une grande salle de bain avec bain à remous intérieur / jacuzzi et buanderie.
Dehors, il ya un grand pont avant et un véranda.
A l'étage sont 2 autres chambres et un autre demi-bain. Le salon, la cuisine et la chambre à l'étage offrent une vue imprenable.
Vous constaterez que la maison est bien aménagée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Vous n'aurez pas besoin d'eau en bouteille ici! Notre eau provient d'un puits profond et est filtrée deux fois pour le goût et la pureté.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Sacandaga River. Un bain à remous est disponible. Profitez de votre séjour avec des équipements et services comme l'accès Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une baignoire à jets disponibles dans cette cabane.

Winter Skiing Get-a-Way
We spent 3 nights and 4 days in this absolutely adorable cabin with gorgeous views of the river and lake. The pictures in the listing do not do the cabin justice - it's even more beautiful than it looks in the pics. We were 6 adults and it was super comfortable for all of us, even after two long days of cross country skiing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom had all the amenities we needed with lots of towels. The shower was really good! We would love to find a time to come back!

Beautiful Setting Sun or Snow
We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. We were belted with 6 inches of snow the day after arrival, which was beautiful. Thankfully, the owners left very detailed and well thought out instructions to not park under the roof overhang. If I wouldn't have known, our car would have been buried in a couple feet of snow a day later when all of the snow slid off the roof. The cabin is well equipped with top notch appliances, very comfortable beds and all of the meal preparation related items you could need. It was probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Best little getaway!
This was exactly what we were looking for when we were planning a weekend away. It is 10 minutes driving distance from the little town, which has a Stewarts, restaurant, Chinese food, pizza place, and a Tops. The atmosphere was so peaceful, right on the water with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit just listening to nature - would definitely visit again!

Great Adirondack House
We loved our stay at this fantastic Northville House. It is a warm and cozy place with a wonderful screened in porch and a fantastic deck overlooking the Scanadaga River. The Kitchen provided everything one needs to create great meals. The living room has very comfortable chairs and couch with a good size tv that connects to any of the streaming platform. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are so comfortable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away in comfort in the midst of beauty

Amazing Weekend
Had an amazing weekend celebrating my father’s retirement. The house was amazing, gorgeous views and the sound of the river flowing was so peaceful. While this was my first time renting a home, my father and brother have a lot of experience, they both said it was their favorite stay. They loved the notes displayed throughout the house giving detailed instructions and information about the home. The large binder filled with information was amazing we read through it and used the information inside to rent a boat for the day, had an amazing time on the lake fishing and soaking in the sights. It was an amazing weekend spent with family in an amazing home. Thank you so much for a great weekend!

Beautiful location - Wonderful homeowners
This property was the perfect get away location for our group of friends looking for rest and relaxation. We happened to visit during the biggest snowfall of the winter and watching the snow come down with the beautiful river in the background was so very peaceful. The property itself is immaculate. The beds are very comfortable. The woodstove is a charming touch. The property owners communication was fantastic. We were concerned about snow removal given the situation but the owners ensured that things were covered in a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic getaway
The property looked amazing on the VRBO site - but was even better in real life! We loved relaxing in the house while enjoying the beautiful view of the river. The house was clean, warm and homey and was very well equipped. There were many options for beautiful hikes in the vicinity but our favorite was hiking on the road along the river. We would highly recommend this house and fully intend on returning.

Perfect getaway!
Our experience at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin has been wonderful. Everything was spotless and prepared for us to have the best time. The hosts’ have been very hospitable from the beginning to the very end. They were very generous to share ideas with us for activities to do in the area. There was a weather alert in the area and Bjorn kindly texted us to ensure we were informed. The cabin is well stocked with all utensils for cooking. You will also find books to get yourself educated about the surroundings, different trail routes and history of the area. What is not to like at Bjorn and Sharon’s cabin! We would love to come back! Feeling very grateful for them to share this gem in such gorgeous part of the world! Thank you!

Relaxing retreat with incredible view
We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and cozy. The location is great, with many hiking trails only a short drive away. The view of the river and mountains from the many windows and front deck is amazing! The kitchen was well equipped. In the evenings we really enjoyed sitting by a fire next to the river with the relaxing sound of the water.

We highly recommend this Adirondack getaway. This is our second (not our last) stay at this property. The property is very clean and is exactly as described. The hosts are wonderful. They are accommodating and very responsive. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely little house in a great location
Our family had a great time staying here. The house was incredibly clean and well-kept. We had everything we needed for a relaxing trip in a gorgeous setting with all the comforts and conveniences of home (dishwasher, laundry, linens/towels, tableware, etc.) -- greatly appreciated when you are traveling with a tot! The house is quiet and peaceful, tucked away in a lovely spot by a river. The mattresses were a little soft for our taste but the bedrooms were cozy and quiet otherwise. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, admiring the gorgeous river views, listening to the water and watching the birds. Just down the road is the town of Northville, a quintessential Adirondack village. We loved J.F Farmstore, the five and dime, the ice cream place... it really had everything you needed, including a grocery store, gas station, and playground. We look forward to coming back for another stay soon! Thank you!!

Property wonderful- clean and so cute. we carefully waded in the river across street and it was so refreshing We saw shooting stars from porch and enjoyed a bonfire near the water. We rented boat to cruise the Great Sacandaga Lake- We did the Rail Ride- such a fun adventure We hiked the Tenant trail to waterfalls- glad we had our hiking sticks- trail was rocky and uneven,but it so worth it! Bjorn had encouraged us to check when restaurants were open - cause some stuff in area closed Monday or Tuesday- but we were able to find some great food and beverages! We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you!
