This place was perfect for my husband and I, we are in our mid 60s and enjoyed the stay, sitting on the deck , watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or the sunset with a hot cocoa + something.....we used the second bedroom for our clothes, because the rooms are a little small, but we do that most of the time anyway....so no big deal for us....i just think it could be cleaner, it needs a long deep clean, like light switches, light hardware, inside the oven and id recommend to get some new pans foe the over, we cooked a turkey breat and were looking for a fitting pan, those i saw are disgusting but i bought my own, so other than that we had a wonderful stay.... Thank you very much...

Great house in a great location. Quiet and relaxing property with beautiful ocean views. We enjoyed our stay. You may want to hire a new cleaning crew. Dust bunnies and cleaning needs to be done under beds and furniture.

I will start this review with something positive. We loved the location. It was right on the beach with its own beach access. That was perfect. Unfortunately, that is all the positive. The place was not clean at all. All the fans were covered in a thick layer of dust as well as the fridge. The bathroom had a heavy pee smell that drifted through the entire house. The shower head was also completely covered in thick green mold and the fixture was very ooze from the wall. The pictures of the patio in the listing are also deceiving. There are no added lights to the porch as listed. The table is also very small compared to the one in the picture. The patio issues were not a huge deal but added to everything else plus we had planned on spending a lot of our time on the patio since the house is very small and the view was nice. And the listing advertised the patio as being a great place to be. I also have pictures of all the issues but there is no way to add them to the review.

Small Pleasures was just as described…clean, comfortable, and with beautiful views of the ocean. The house is small - perfect for 2 people and has that quaint beach cottage feel. Whether we were sitting on the deck watching the waves or taking a stroll on the beach we could not have asked for a more perfect and relaxing getaway….Small Pleasures most definitely fit the bill. 10 out of 10 we would stay here again!!

I can not recomment this place enough. It was the best vacation our family of 4 has ever taken. The pictures no not do justice to have spectacular the area is. The house was idea for everything we needed. The washer and drier even worked qinderfully. It had all the kitchen amenities that you couls need. I cant wait to go back!!! Loved every minute.

Our family stayed at this cute little house right on the beach and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Everything you could need for your vacation, this house has. Although, most of our time was spent outside on the deck or at the beach! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy beach house for your vacation.

Perfect Size
This was a 4-day vacation for myself and my Mom - just needing some relaxation and ocean breezes. This cottage delivered just that. Perfect size for the two of us and everything we needed for quick meals. Location was ideal being right on the beach and I loved the covered patio to stay out of the sun. Only suggestion is a decent umbrella to use on the beach with the chairs. The one in the storage space wasn't usable.

Small pleasures get away
This place was super nice and cozy. My small children and mother enjoyed this so much. The kids quickly pulled the jaws puzzle down to start as soon as we arrived. The views are incredible and the best thing about the house is the deck. We enjoyed every meal and coffee here. The only thing i have to complain about is the shower head leaks (previous post from June states the same ), shower was pretty small but the pressure worked great. The door to get in was very frustrating as we had to work on it more than we should to get in a few times of course both after night walks on beach (that really could use to be fixed). Everything you need to cook and enjoy yourself is included in this rental so overall a nice stay but hopefully the door will get fixed 😀

Perfect Get- Away
We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to unplug from the daily hustle and bustle. My husband and I found exactly what we were looking for during our stay at Small Pleasures”. It was very enjoyable to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves and to have a view of those waves from multiple places within the home. We spent a lot of our time on the large porch which has both covered and uncovered areas, and enjoyed breakfast several mornings out there. There was ample space for the 2 of us and for 2 other adult family members who joined us for part of the visit. The only complaint was about how tiny the shower was and that it leaked from the shower head fixture. I’m a petite person so it didn’t bother me but it was cramped for a normal sized adult to use. Even with that one negative, however, my husband said he wouldn’t hesitate to return. We both wished we had booked a few more days as we weren’t quite ready to end our wonderful stay.

Cute, cozy beach cottage
We opened sliding doors from a bedroom and kitchen to see the sunrise and sunsets and hear the waves every day. You can walk the beach and it's only a couple miles into good restaurants. The host responded to our questions in a timely manner. There is construction on a new build next door that didn't show up in the pictures, but they didn't have early morning or late hours and were considerate.

Lovely stay for a couple or small family. Its hard to find an oceanfront 2BR, and this one is definitely one we will return to. Clean, beautifully decorated and really well appointed with easy access to the beach. Of course it's a small kitchen, but there were more cooking tools here than at some of the huge houses we've rented on the island. Beds are very comfortable and the deck is lovely. The only improvement would be an enclosed outdoor shower, as the indoor shower is about the size of a phone booth. Nevertheless, this space suited our needs perfectly. Would highly recommend.
