We had a group of 8 senior but very active lady friends enjoy a wonderful 4 days in this lovely home. The location is absolutely perfect, beach and town close. The home is spacious and allows privacy in select areas but also boasts great gathering spaces. Quality linens, plenty of towels, a well stocked kitchen and super speedy response to questions to the Host made this a top rated get away.

We were a group of six ladies, friends forever enjoying a girls getaway stay.,This property is beautiful with ample space for us all. The view from the living room and balcony were always ocean perfect. Our one annoyance was there were no screens on that beautiful balcony. The breeze was amazing but there was an increasing fly problem. They even found their way into the bathrooms. Fly strips would help to catch them though I know they are ugly. Two or three fly swatters are recommended at the least.

An outstanding homebase for our outings

Lots of room in this wonderful house. Bedrooms are large, and plenty of bathrooms. We stayed in the house while we went on day excursions to Seaworld, and Legoland. We took a family walk down to the pier as well.

My family very much enjoyed this home. It was clean, modern, and comfortably appointed. Pro tips about parking were very much appreciated. Two en suite bedrooms on two different levels accommodated our multi-gen family perfectly.

Wonderfully located house!

Had a fantastic stay at this oceanfront house! The location is unmatched with phenomenal views, and proximity to walking path to beach and pier (as well as movie theatre and restaurants). Small discrepancies in that though there is a fireplace working in the pictures, it wasn't working when we arrived. Also, no garage remote for cars so we had to manually have someone open the garage everytime. We loved how big the kitchen was as well as the hot tub and comfortable beds. Also, very responsive host. 9/10 overall - the view can't be beat!

Great place for extended family

There were 10 in our party, covering 3 generations, and the place was great. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The garage was convenient. The location to the beach was great as well! There are rocks on the beach immediately west of the house, but a very short walk north and we found beach to play in. Check in was easy and checkout was great without a bunch of tedious chores for us to do! If we are in the area again, we will consider this place again.

The BEST Vacation Rental of All

We had a large group of three families coming together for a fun CA adventure! I looked through many houses, trying to find one that would not only suit our needs for all of us staying there, but the desire to be close to the beach, etc. This home was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The pictures do not do it justice (although they are stunning - in person it’s just breathtaking). Three families were comfortable here, the house was so spacious. There is a cute market in walking distance for all of the little things we forgot to pack. We had an easy walk to and from the beach for both of our big beach days, relaxed it he hot tub on the top deck and even saw dolphins each night! We had to contact the property company for a small issue with the refrigerator and they were immediately helpful, and kind. I am so looking forward to booking here again each year as we make this a family tradition. Highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!

Super Comfortable and roomy

We had 6 adult family members staying at this nice large beach house. Beds are very comfortable nice large family room where we were able to gather with other family members in town. Kitchen is well stocked and Kim was super helpful about fixing refrigerator and installing a hanging bar in front bedroom. Garage was large enough to tightly fit 3 SUV’s and outside parking wasn’t a problem. Even though it says this is beach front it is behind the strand . The ocean view was still very good from the balcony. We are hoping to stay again next year!

Nice, but...

It was probably just unfortunate timing, but the main refrigerator on the 2nd floor was not working when we arrived. We communicated with the property manager, but after the repair tech came out multiple times (disruption), it still didn't get fixed. We ended up having to use the smaller backup fridge in the garage, and we lost some food in the process. It was super inconvenient to go up and down the stairs to access food and drink all week. Pretty much all the shutters on the main floor were damaged and hard to operate. The Keurig unit was in 'descale' mode, which isn't the end of the world, but it's one of the small details that I would expect to be paid attention to for a VRBO property like this. Overall it was a nice stay... The house was nice, clean, quiet, and the location was super convenient with quick/easy access to anything in and around town.

Spacious and great views

We had a good stay at this house as a multi-generational family. It is large and spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is showing it's age a bit with some broken window cranks and torn screens. The windows in the dining area were very dirty which is unfortunate because the view is incredible. It's even better from the roof which was a fun place to hang out after a day at the beach! We enjoyed the hot tub, but for some reason the water temp maxed out at 99 degrees. We also couldn't use it the day the spa guy came because the chlorine fumes were too intense to be in the water. The location is great, walking distance to the beach, although you have to walk about 5 minutes north to get to any area with sand. Communication with the manager was ok.

AMAZING PROPERTY

I stayed at this home with some of my adult children, and my 3 month old granddaughter and it was wonderful! The home is very spacious, the kitchen well stocked, the beds were shockingly comfortable and the location great!!! If you have young kids you do need to walk a bit to have beach access but we were more than capable using the wagon. ( beach access right across street is limited as the tide rises) I have used vrbo many times for beach homes in Oceanside, San Clemente, Oxnard, etc. This house has been my absolute favorite!! We will be returning next summer!

Was not notified of changes to the property

This was our second year and the owner did not notify me about locking up and denying access to a full bathroom and closet that had been available the previous year. It would have made a difference in our entire booking. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to buy more for all the bathrooms in use. Otherwise we loved it and had a nice time.
