The room was very clean and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The property locks the main doors at night which made us feel safe and secure. Great prices overall, it was an amazing stay.

When I got there with the $50 cash deposit that it says you have to have they told me if you had cash you have to have 150 or you have to use a debit card none of this was on the website

The check-in was difficult because even though I am the parent account for the cash up card I tried to use for the deposit, they would not let me use the credit card because it did not have my name on it even though it had my last name on it. The overall the friendliness of the front desk lady was awesome and they left us alone for the two days we were there and helped when we needed help.

My stay was cool the doors To the parking lot closes at 12 midnight, and you have to wait for the front desk to open up and let you out to smoke a cigarettes at that designated area!

MAJOR updates needed
Upon arrival to The Douillet, the curb appeal in the lobby was great and the check in process went well. Until I went up to the room I was in. The room itself is so rundown, and the bathroom needs a major update. The shower was so disgusting it looks like whoever bought this hotel did nothing to fix anything. The shower door was not there instead of replacing the glass door they drilled holes on the frame and put a shower curtain with shower rings and the floor of the shower was cracked and they tried to fix it with fiber glass patch. There were greasy fingerprints all over the pocket door for the bathroom. The toilet did not flush because the chain for the handle was not even hooked up and the toilet fill valve was not working either, I had to take the tank lid off to get the valve to fill the tank. Also, the hot water was so hot that it would burn someone if they were not careful. The refrigerator freezer shelf was not even attached to the ceiling of the fridge. The condition of the room furnishing is in need of a major upgrade. We will not be staying here again ever and would not ever recommend to anyone. The front desk staff and breakfast bar was the only thing that was nice.
