Not only was the inn beautiful, but the hosts were very kind and helpful with lots of recommendations and insight into the area. Also, the breakfast was so delicious. We would love to stay here again!
I interacted with Nathan during my stay here, and he was a fantastic host, especially with regard to my unpredictable work schedule. Thanks to him I was treated to warm, delicious scones before the set breakfast time, and he was able to accommodate my last minute changes with ease and ever-present amiability. The inn itself is a wonderful Victorian property with great architecture and plenty of charm. I'd definitely stay again, and would love to come back to take advantage of the full breakfast!
We enjoyed the historic home. We stayed in the Astoria room and loved it. Very roomy and quiet. Bedding was very nice. There is no TV in room but that was fine with us. We walked the neighborhood and then took advantage of the jacuzzi in our room.
Great place to stay! Breakfast was delicious! Hosts were awesome. The only thing I would change is to have a coffee station before the 9:00 breakfast. Iâm ready for coffee at 7:00!
Also, our AC didnât work great but it was still an awesome stay!
This is an old Victorian home that comes with all the quirks of such an old home.
Room was small with few frills, but the frills are not why you stay here!!
The room was cozy and we loved the period feel. Bed was comfortable and our accommodations were quiet.
Our host provided us with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable....information, directions, and a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning.
The downside....if you could give one, was the only place walking distance was 7 blocks away. Being on motorcycles, we enjoyed the walk and the food at the little eatery was fantastic.
Our overall stay was fantastic and we would absolutely stay here again.
Owners were wonderful. Met us at the door welcoming us. Shared information of the area, provided suggestions for where to get dinner. The breakfast served was delicious.
This beautiful inn was the perfect way to treat myself for a Motherâs Day getaway! The room was clean, comfortable, and even set to my ideal temperature. The owner was very friendly and gave great recommendations of what to do around town. Breakfast and coffee were delicious and homemade. Overall, it was five-star experience! I loved it so much I booked another stay as soon as I got home!
We came here for our wedding night and had an exceptional time. The owners Nathan and Casey went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel is a a late 19th Century masterpiece. Blending Victorian and craftsman style architecture perfectly. Absolutely will be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend booking through their website though instead of here because they have better rates direct!
Exceptional doesnât even scratch the surface on how perfect of an experience this stay was. The property, building and rooms were breathtakingly gorgeous and charming. The inn-taker and family were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate our food allergies. Our room was GORGEOUS. This Inn is truly a gem. I highly recommend staying. We will definitely be back â€ïž
I wanted to take a moment to thank the proprietors of Swantown Inn (and let Expedia know how charming this place is!) I had a warm and social experience that felt like a breath of fresh air post-pandemic.
My room was spacious and beautiful (it's a rambling old building, lots of history - a little worn down but in a charming way) but the standout experience was coming down for breakfast and meeting the owners and other guests. The food was delicious but the conversation was revelatory - most places to stay don't offer the same connection and communal experience.
The proprietors had great recommendations for dinner and things to do in Olympia and Oregon, and I was able to easily walk from the location to the historic district, which has great record stores, book stores, and history if you're an indie rock nerd like me. If you're trying to get to the capitol building, the walk may be a little longer.
Staying here and exploring Olympia was a highlight of my trip - thank you!
