Le lac à son meilleur! Cette belle maison de vacances est située sur le côté coucher de soleil du lac noir avec une immense plage de sable privée (environ 150 pieds). Et dispose de 9 chambres et 8 salles de bains. Toutes les chambres ont l'air conditionné.
Sept des chambres sont de type Motel avec entrées extérieures, salles de bain privées, TV,.
Six des chambres disposent de portes adjacentes (faisant une suite). Chaque suite dispose également d'un réfrigérateur et d'un four micro-ondes.

Il est adjacent au parc d'État d'Onaway et à toutes ses commodités. Restaurants et épiceries sont à seulement 5 minutes.
Profitez de votre temps sur le magnifique lac Black, qui est connu pour sa merveilleuse pêche, la navigation de plaisance, la natation et la randonnée. Le lac noir présente des plages de sable sûres et un fond. Les sentiers sont à quelques minutes pour le vélo, la randonnée et le VTT. Poissons pour le doré, la perche, le maskinongé et l'achigan. Terminez vos journées en vous souvenant des couchers de soleil les plus époustouflants que vous ayez jamais vus !!

Quatre nouveaux kayaks que nous venons d'acheter pour votre plaisir! Nous avons également deux bateaux en aluminium de 16 pieds, avec un quai et un treuil pour bateau (capacité de 4000 livres) pour ranger facilement votre bateau. Nous avons également un patio avant meublé avec un barbecue à gaz et des meubles de patio. Notre véranda arrière est équipée d'un réfrigérateur supplémentaire pour les aliments et les boissons supplémentaires.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette maison de vacances, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Onaway State Park. Cette maison de vacances comprend des équipements et services comme une cuisine et 8 plusieurs salles de bain.

Amazing Value
This property worked great for our annual family vacation (16 people). The individual bedrooms and bathrooms were amazing. The pavilion was perfect and spacious for meals and relaxing. Black Lake is beautiful and we enjoyed hanging out in the water. Next time we will definitely want to rent a pontoon to explore more. Hosts made everything very easy and clear. We will be back.

Best Lake Vacation Ever
We stayed at the "Yellow Motel" for a family reunion, and it was better than expected. The beach was perfect for the little ones and the weather was amazing. The kids loved the canoes and kayaks. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in the pavilion. Jason and Debbie were great hosts with great communication and were so accommodating. We definitely hope to return.

Wonderful Vacation Spot
Everything was just as advertised. The owners/managers were very easy to work with. We loved having the sandy shore for the children to play in the water. The big grassy area was a plus for the children to play games. We also loved all the places to see in the area such as Mackinaw Island and the lighthouses. Definitely will return to this vacation spot.

Our Family Loved It!
Our family of 17 enjoyed a wonderful week at the Yellow Motel, as one of our granddaughters called it. Many other reviews have commented on all the great things about it, so I won't repeat those here (though they are ALL TRUE); rather, I will list a few facts, none of which are deal-breakers, which I personally would have found it helpful to know ahead of time. * there is high chair! Very helpful, as we had two 1-year-olds with us. * The listing says the kitchen is fully equipped, and in truth, it is quite well-equipped. However, there is nowhere near enough silverware for the number of people who can stay there, especially spoons. I recommend bringing some. * I was thrilled to read on the listing about an outside refrigerator; in fact there are three, which was just great. * The living/dining space is smaller than I thought (from the pictures). It wasn't a major problem, but we did have 4 days of questionable weather ranging from all-day rain to rather windy and cool, and it got kind of full in there at times. * There were no dishrags (just one sponge) and no dish soap, laundry dishwasher soap or laundry detergent. These are often supplied in rentals, but be sure to bring some! Overall, we loved our stay here. The arrangement of the rooms worked so well for all our people, it's easy driving to a number of fun and interesting places, and the hosts were easy to contact and responsive to any issues we had.

Pavillion was a great area to hang out in. Swimming area was great to lounge on a float and shallow enough not to have to worry about little ones. Property managers were friendly. Our entire family enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend.

Great and unique find for large groups
The beauty of the lake view and surrounding area is almost overshadowed by the convenience of having rooms with individual showers and bathrooms. This is a fantastic find for those of you struggling to find that affordable lake spot for a big group. As many adventures or peaceful moments as you need.

Great Stay at Black Lake!
We really enjoyed our stay. The property had room for all of us and our gear. The covered pavilion was great for hanging out, enjoying our coffee in the mornings, eating meals, and playing cards. The beach was great. It had nice sand, and the lake was sandy, too. We enjoyed the firepit each night. The kitchen had lots of storage, and we do bring a lot of food with us. They extra fridges in the back area were supernhandy, too. We enjoyed our vacation and would certainly recommend staying here.

Perfect for large families
Our families of eight adult children, six of them married, with 15 grandchildren were able to enjoy a family vacation in this beautiful quiet place that has been perfected by the owners for large families. The addition of the outdoor pavilion was new from the last time we rented this spot in 2018. It was perfect for all of our meals. The large beach, kayaks, outdoor furniture make this a top notch place to stay.

It worked out great for the family. Loved the lake.
With the 7 motel type rooms, worked out great for the kids to go to their own spot for the night. We had 18 of us from age 7 to age 72. Had plenty of yard to play games in. Will definitely be back. The kids wanted me to book for next year, before we left this morning.

Sunsets are so amazing
As described by others, the sunsets are so amazing that change every night and from one minute to another. The shoreline is wonderful, plenty of beach seats, tables and wonderful bonfire. The grills came handy. We appreciate Kathy and Jerry. They did all they can to make our stay enjoyable. The house and rooms were clean even though the house is older and bathrooms are small. If we can suggest one Improvement, it would be upgrading the WiFi to propagate in the house. Access was limited even in the main room. We love this house vacation. We would come back if we get a chance in the future.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of space for our large family reunion. The house and all the rooms were exceptionally clean. The sandy beach/ grassy area is very large, it was great for all the kids to play soccer/ football. The kids and adults enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake which was shallow, felt very safe for young children. The sunsets are amazing to say the least. The owners Kathy and Jerry were wonderful! Made us feel like we were at home. Thanks again for everything. We are all looking forward to coming back next year!

So relaxing. It accommodates perfectly for a big family. It gives everyone the space they needed.
the sunset was mesmerizing. The water was so clear and beautiful. It was interesting to see a lake that was red. (Black in the deepest ends, hence the name) Great for fishing, kayaking, and when weather allowed, a fun time swimming. Loved how clean the house/area in general was. The owners were so friendly and came by within minutes when we needed them. Would definitely rent again with my family. There are not many homes that offer that kind of privacy for such a big group.

The stay at the motel strip was wonderful. The owners Jerry and Kathy went above and beyond on making sure are stay was a stay to remember. We hit two births with one stone at this place with Mackinac island being just an hour away we got to see the famous island and bridge. Thank you Kathy and Jerry for having us at your place.

A very pretty setting on the lake! Peaceful and relaxing!
17 of us stayed for a family wedding in the area, we had everything we needed, lots of room to gather in the family room and kitchen yet, everyone had the privacy of their own rooms. The owners were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to questions and needs. We are already planning our next visit there!
