Rooms were large, comfortable and well decorated. Hotel is conveniently located next to highway but the rooms are not well isolated and sound proof enough. The noise coming from the cars of the highway is surprisingly loud and non-stop throughout the day and night

Lovely hotel, friendly and pleasant staff. The room was incredible, perfect for a family as they added a bed to the living area. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

Good hotel for the night. Was a stopover. Had parking facilities free of charge. Checkin was easy. Had a microwave at reception if needed and a vending machine. Service average when ordering some dinner to the room as well as breakfast. Not the best service. Maybe because we spoke only English, I'm not sure but could've been more polite.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Amazing interior from the lobby to the room, the rooms are extremely spacious. Overall a great stay if you're driving as they have free & easy parking. It was close to the highway but noise wasn't an issue at night. An extreme bargain for the price you pay for. The only thing was there were mosquitoes in our room during our stay, probably due to there's a swamp nearby.

Staff are unhelpful.

Took my wife here for her 40th, the hotel was lovely in a great area. The room was spacious and clean. The problem was the staff. They would not help with with a birthday cake, they would not help me acquire flowers. The other issue is their coffee. It’s terrible. The Batman needs to learn how to make an espresso.

Beautiful hotel. We only stayed for one night but thoroughly enjoyed it. Large well equipped rooms and comfy bed. Helpful staff and free parking. Conveniently located to get a taxi (via reception) into Bruge.

The Van de Valk was extremely well presented. Externally it looked everything a country hotel should be, well presented and imposing. The car park was large and entry was no problem. The interior was impressive and the check-in staff although we were early were helpful and amenable. Our room was large and had everything you could ask for. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were fantastic. Breakfast was outstanding. There was nothing to fault our stay at the Van de Valk except that it wasn't long enough
