Gite Tardoire is situated in the heart of the Parc natural Régional Périgord in the Limousin region. The gite is located in a small peaceful hamlet with the River Tardoire running 100m behind the property, ideal for relaxing on the bank of the river for a peaceful moment.

Swim in the pool or enjoy a relaxing glass of wine on the patio watching & listening to the surrounding wildlife.

Just 3 mins to the Voie Verte old railway track now converted for cycling walking rollerblading along the shady path to Châlus.

The Town of Oradour-Sur-Vayres is only a 3min drive with supermarket, bank, post office, pharmacy, two boulangeries, restaurant, deli Tourist information, artisans boutique & hairdressers.  Alternatively, try the pretty town of Cussac just 5 mins drive with all facilities.

Splendid character cottage nearby to owners’ (Martin,Stella and Ziggy the dog) house. Idyllic setting with garden, patio and pool. Lovely to lounge when the weather was hot and a good base to explore places such as Limoges, Oradour-sur-Glane, and Jumilhac-le-Grand. Voie Verte starting in nearby Oradour-sur-Vayres is a great cycle path. Martin and Stella were great hosts and

Wonderful
We’ve had a wonderful week at the cottage. The house is perfect, stays nice and cool and has a wonderful garden with a pool. It was everything we needed. The hospitality and service of the owners was heartwarming. What we missed were nice restaurants in the neighbourhood and things to do with little children. This has nothing to do with the cottage though.

Une maison et des hôtes charmants !
Nous avons eu le plaisir de passer quelques jours dans le gîte de Stella et Martin. La maison est décorée avec goût et l’environnement exceptionnel! Nous avons eu la chance de partager un apéro avec Stella et Martin et ce sont des gens super ! Je recommande fortement ce gîte !
