One happy resort!!
This is an easy review...! 100% excellent prop. Great communication. All people working there are friendly and helpful. The concierge so great too. Coffee in the morning at Juan Valdez...entertainment on the property too. We loved it and we are planning our next trip back there this weekend! 20 stars!

THIS IS A FRADULENT LISTING. Do NOT fall for this SCAM
This listing is a SCAM AND A FRAUD. I don’t know the intricacies of how they are scamming people but I think it’s renting it out for more days than they can provide. 2 other listings below in the reviews noted similar information from other reviews. Basically, what happened to us is that 36 hours before we were supposed to fly out, I received a text from the property rental agency for who I believe to be the fictitious owner “Christian.” In it, they indicated that they received no response repeatedly from Christian and that they had to cancel my booking altogether but were able to find 4 nights to rent to me rather than the 6 I paid for. I confirmed with this management company that they worked for “Christian. I then received a cryptic text from another number, telling me to check in and say that I knew a specific woman and I was booking directly through her, presumably to avoid getting the front desk involved. At any rate, the relevant information for you, a prospective renter, is this: this individual has been a scam with VRBO repeatedly with La Cabana. I tried to get additional information, but they were reluctant to do so because they don’t even know who this person is. However, resort management was able to tell me that he has repeatedly scammed people in a similar fashion, which was confirmed through reviews of 2 other people on this site alone. I will be filing a formal complaint with VRBO and BBB.

Great place! Very clean and great service. Did not like to hear BINGO from the beach. Lower the volume. Great supermarket in walking distance. We made our own Pina Coladas and brought them to the beach. I would definitely go back. Make restaurant reservations 3 weeks in advance

Long story but here goes it. First, the morning I boarded the plane to travel to Aruba, I received a text stating that I needed to check in under someone else's name or I would be charged extra. That was a red flag. Second, I arrived at La Cabana only to find that we were not registered to stay. I showed the email confirmation from VRBO and the text message I received. The resort staff it was fraudulent and told me to contact VRBO. I contacted VRBO and "Christian" from RRP. It took almost 3 hours to sort it out. While I was there 2 other couples told me they arrived 3 days before us and told us they had similar issues and was told by La Cabana staff it was a scam. I was so rattled! Eventually folks from RRP helped us sort it all out and we were able to get a room. Third, the staff at La Cabana were great, friendly and were helpful. Fourth, the resort was great! The people were great! The location was great! The weather was great! The drinks and activities were great! Fifth, when we checked out we were charged a hefty tax AGAIN! When I stated that we paid taxes on the initial stay they told me we needed to pay taxes again. I tried to speak with a manager but they kept me waiting for over an hour and we had to leave to catch our flight. Lastly, I don't even know how to review this "adventure". The beginning of the vacation was awful, the middle was pleasant and the end was truly a rip-off. My best advice would be to contact the resort if directly if you were to stay.

Owners are the worst
LaCabana is great. Owners of this unit are the worst I've ever dealt with in any rental in my life. I spent many hours trying to get correct information to check in. They only had me registered for four nights instead of seven. I was already at LaCabana and dealt with the staff there. Luckily, the lady at Blue-Green at LaCabana took pity on me and took care of the situation and let me check in. 1 out of 10 service from owners.

La Cabana never disappoints been coming here for over 15 years with my family. Great place If you want a quieter Aruba vacation this is the place. Best of all you are footsteps from Eagle Beach - the most beautiful beach in the Carribean - love it here!!
