La maison elle-mĂȘme est vraiment unique. Une Ɠuvre d'art par le propriĂ©taire, les dĂ©tails en font un endroit inoubliable. De l'escalier bordĂ© de loupe taillĂ© Ă  la main Ă  la balançoire de banc suspendu aux chevrons du salon au lit mezzanine qui donne sur une lucarne, les enfants et les adultes passeront un merveilleux moment Ă  explorer cette maison.

La grande cuisine a beaucoup de place pour tout le monde pour aider Ă  prĂ©parer les repas. Le bar dispose d'un terrarium en verre rempli d'Ă©toiles de mer, de dollars de sable, de coquillages, de rochers - voyez ce que vous pouvez trouver! Le mur de fenĂȘtres vous permet de profiter de la vue oĂč que vous soyez. Le salon dispose d'une balançoire suspendue aux chevrons et d'un confortable poĂȘle Ă  bois.

La chambre principale offre un lit king fait Ă  la main, une grande baignoire et une douche Ă  vapeur surdimensionnĂ©e. Profitez Ă©galement de la vue depuis les fenĂȘtres enveloppantes de cette piĂšce.

Le loft peut accueillir deux autres personnes sur un futon et dispose d'une table de baby-foot pour le temps de jeu. La chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants peut accueillir six personnes (deux lits queen, un lit superposé simple et un lit mezzanine simple qui donne sur la lucarne). Les enfants voudront se balancer / papier / ciseaux pour l'endroit d'observation des étoiles!

Dehors, il y a tout un monde à explorer. La grande terrasse offre de nombreuses vues à apprécier, ou flùnez sur l'un des sentiers de la grande propriété. Il y a un grand barbecue pour vos steaks de dßner, puis un foyer pour plus tard dans la soirée quand il est temps de rÎtir des guimauves.

Lorsque vous ĂȘtes prĂȘt pour une aventure sur la colline, visitez la plage de Whaleshead, Ă  moins d'un mile de distance. Des sentiers de randonnĂ©e suivent le littoral jusqu'Ă  Brookings, ou dirigez-vous vers le nord pour d'autres options.

Pacific Palace In The Woods

From the moment I climbed the flattop boulder stairs (easy ascent/descent) and entered the home, I was instantly in awe but also felt very welcomed. Seeing the magnificent structure, with timber beams, mortise, and tenon style in-person will delight anyone who appreciates architecture. Everything you need to cook can be found in the beautiful kitchen wood cabinetry (hickory?) with stone pulls. The seashell counter displays, the antler & skull collections, the macrame wood swing, and the wood stove are all framed with forest and ocean views and deserve attention. In the master bedroom, we enjoyed the super comfortable king-size bed with pillows galore. The master bath has a steam shower with dual shower heads, a round river rock floor, and a seashell/glass accent border. Check out the cabinet pulls; they are made from antlers. I don’t usually get too excited by stairways, but this house has a heavenly one. The home is well situated in the woods with plenty of privacy but still close enough to town for when you need to go there. The property is very close to: 3 rivers (Chetco, Winchuck and Rogue), state campgrounds and state forests, radical viewpoints, and hiking trails but it is a hard home to leave due to its comfort level and abounding views, especially if it is raining. We look forward to coming back soon to visit this Pacific Palace In The Woods!!!

Gorgeous views, well equipped

We loved the gorgeous views inside and out. The custom log beams and wood interior feel both comforting and luxurious. The home is well provisioned with cooking equipment and gear. Plenty of games for all ages. We had many people filling the beds. There are only two bedrooms but lots of sleeping options that the kids enjoyed- hello triple level bunk style! Perfect for cousins. No room darkening blinds on windows so bring your eye masks. This is one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

Beautiful sunset scenery

The house was clean and had a beautiful sunset view. There’s multiple spots in and outside of the house to watch the sunset. The hill drive up is steep, so just keep that in mind. It’s a convenient distance from town. The only downside was there was no AC. Other than that, it was great.

Loved all the unique details, comfortable layout, and beautiful views. The sunset was best viewed from the top deck, but we loved the view from the swing in the living room too. The king bed was super comfy! The garden tub with ocean view was a treat. Enjoyed the proximity to beautiful beaches. We are seniors... 72 and 75. We both loved our stay.

The place was hard to find up a steep bumpy gravel single lane road. When we arrived we could not get TV to work. When I called about this I was told to rent dvds. No cable TV so we put a puzzle together. The upstairs had bunk beds and all beds in one room. A live bat swarmed our bed at night so opened door to get it out. I would never rent this home again paid over $900 for 2 nights.

Great cozy spot for family getaway

Cabin was super cozy with a beautiful view. Far enough away to feel like you are in the forest, but super close to town and hikes and beaches and even the redwoods in California. Only complaint is I emailed property manager twice - once to confirm they received the rental notice I signed and another to ask for advice on local hikes, and no response was ever received. Likely due to the fact that it is a property management company running it as opposed to a homeowner.

If you love privacy and gorgeous views, this is the place for you. Everything was as pictured or better, and we felt right at home. We loved our time here reading on the deck, sitting in the swing, and relaxing in the tub. One week wasn't long enough!

Great location to use as a base to explore the coasts and forests of northern California and Southern Oregon. Beds are a bit soft, Neighbor’s rooster is friendly, house is so cozy you might want to stay in rather than getting out and doing things.

Another great stay at this gorgeous cabin oasis!

We stayed here 3 years ago and had such a fantastic time as a family of three that we returned again to recreate the vacation this year as a family of four. The house is perfect. Larger than I remembered! So many fun details for kids and adults. Our four year old loved the bunk beds! And the adults love the steam shower :). On our first stay, we fell in love with the swing in the living room. We'd turn every light off in the house and watch the stars. Such a pleasure in the middle of winter. When we returned home, we purchased the same swing for our porch. Now we're thinking after this trip, we finally need to make that steam shower a reality in our house. ;) Thanks for a lovely, sunny winter escape in your beautiful slice of heaven.
