I liked the warm cookies, scent in the hotel lobby, front desk staff, free bottles of water, and comfortable beds/bedding. I enjoyed one dinner on the property restaurant. We didn't have breakfast because it was too expensive - I walked to McD's or ate at the Convention Center. I did not like the villas. I wasn't expecting a motel vibe. I did like how our villa was near the only hot tub on the large property. The property appeared to be a ran down resort and it wasn't well lit. Walking a distance to our villa at night was not ideal. I did feel safe overall because the property is gated.

Clean but tough.

Room was very clean. However, the lighting was very poor in the bathroom area. Had lunch at the restaurant. I had the chicken b. L. T the chicken was so tough, I couldn't even chew it. Was like leather. I asked for a memosa was given just the champagne. No orange juice had to explain to the waiter that that was required for the drink. Didn't get a chance to hang out at the pools because we were there for a volleyball tournament.

Let me say that our experience was bad from the beginning. I reserved a king-size bed at check-in, but the lady never mentioned that they no longer had our room available. When we got to the room, it had two double beds instead. I went back to the front desk, spoke with the manager, and was told, "Sorry, we no longer have that room." It was late, and no other rooms were available, so we had no choice but to take it. Let me tell you, those beds were like sleeping on rocks. Secondly, the fridge didn’t work. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal, but I needed to keep some things cold. The overall maintenance of the room was poor. Not to mention the number of prostitutes we saw walking around the grounds. We chose to ignore this for two reasons: 1. it's a hotel, and 2. it was a holiday weekend. The major issue came when we went to speak with the manager the next morning to explain why we were checking out early. All we got was a condescending “I’m sorry.” It felt like we were being told, “I don’t care,” repeatedly. For nearly $700 for two days, I expected more. I never write reviews, but this was, overall, a bad experience.
