Stay for Disney

Nice house for us to retreat to after long days at Disney. Fun at the water slides and lazy river in the day we didn’t go to Disney. House was clean. Would’ve been nice if the kitchen was a little more well appointed- more trash bags, soap/dishwasher soap, salt/pepper etc. but comfy rooms and lots of space

Inaccurate But Nice

The location was originally booked based on location shown on the VRBO website. After booking, it was 15-20 mins from where it originally said. We decided to weight our options and keep the booking. Communication was quick and questions were answered quickly. House was not dirty, but could tell many items weren't considered by housekeeping (under couches/beds, dishes left out had dog hair/dust on them, etc), but we were able to clean it up ourselves. Check in (at no fault of the location itself) was a bit confusing as the gate guards were confused. Once figured out, it was easy. I did not receive any check out instructions and had to request them, leaving minimal time to leave things how they might like to make it easier. There is no hot tub on site, it is listed on the description and the photos show what could be, but it is a whirlpool, no heat. All in all, the layout worked great for us and I would stay again.

Great for large family

Traveled with family of 7 and 2 dogs for long weekend at Disney Parks. Although a little further from the parks than expected not too bad 30 minute avg drive. The property is exactly as advertised.

Spacious house. Great for groups with kids. About 40 min to Magic Kingdom with traffic. As others have mentioned, there are bare minimum supplies in the house (including limited trash bags and soap; no coffee or sponges etc).

Lacking in many ways. Only 1 hair dryer for 15 people, Only 1 kitchen towel, no kitchen sponge, repeated requests to get pool heated and it never happened. No basics in kitchen like salt, pepper, oil. Dishwasher was broken and leaked water all over the floor. Foosball table was broken as well as one of the video games.

Location yes, cat stench no

Location is great! Plenty of room for lots of people but in terrible condition. Walked in to a potent stench of cat pee and wet animal. Even found a cat toy in the kitchen. They attempted to shampoo carpets and missed spots but made it worse. Rest of the floors not vacuumed or clean, but the rooms and bathroom fairly clean. Not great for my daughter who is deathly allergic to cats. Asked for the heater on for the pool and hot tub but it started at 65 degrees and did not reach to an acceptable temp during our stay.

Plenty of room!

The house was huge and accommodated all of us very well. The pool was a huge hit as well as the Clubhouse that we had access to with the booking. There were no kitchen rags or sponges to wash dishes. We didn’t know until the day of checkout that the dishwasher didn’t work because we went to start it on our way out the door to the airport, no time to take the dishes out to clean them so just notified the host. We had to buy a lot of items that are typically provided; salt, pepper, Pam spray etc that got left behind because we weren’t going to pack it up and bring it home. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer that worked. The gate check in was very difficult. The address provided was to the house, not the actual gate. At least the gate attendant was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. A pin drop location would be very helpful with this process.

The house is very large and can accommodate many guests. The two living spaces were very nice to have. One thing to improve would be the address to go for the initial check in. After a failed attempt at the first one we called and received a different address and upon arriving at that one it still was not correct. It was frustrating after a long day of traveling! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

House accommodated our group of 12, with more than enough room. It was clean and appeared just like the pictures. Customer service was responsive to any concerns I had. Minimal kitchen supplies ( if you plan to cook)

Not as advertised

The size of the house was great, and it was decently clean, however hairs were found in the shower and one bed. That said, we arrived at 350 for a 4pm check in and the cleaning service was still onsite frantically trying to finish. We were tired after a long day and at 355 when they left we were still not allowed in until exactly 4pm. We had to wait in the driveway. Then when we got in, there was absolutely nothing in the house. While i do not expect much, it would have been nice to have a couple bottles of water, coffee filters, maybe a single coffee packet and dishsoap. This property litterally only had paper towels and toliet paper. After scrambling to get some supplies delivered to the house, the gate is a major problem for some of the delivery services and our stuff took forever to get in. Then, the pictures appear to have nothing built behind this house and therefore we assumed a little bit of privavcy. However these pics must be old because there is an entire street of houses built behind this house and everyone is right on top of each other. It feels like an open campground. That might have been ok if we expected that, but was very misleading based on the posted pics, and the hot tub is not a hot tub. Directions should be provided to the "main gate". Although our pass worked fine, it was not uncommon for people to get stuck at the gates and back up traffic coming in. this property was not what we expected.

Close enough to all Disney parks. Address to checkin gate would have been helpful, huge community with LOTS of gates, “North” gate was not helpful. Community Water park access was great.

Spacious home!!

Loved that there were enough rooms and baths for each person! Pool was convenient for an afternoon cool down but hot tub is not ‘hot’… just warm-ish. Check in instructions should give details (like address) of where to get gate pass. There was literally a line of cars at the gate all trying to figure out where to go since the community is so large! Staff is very attentive and gets back to you immediately. Drive time to Disney parks is NOT realistic. The best time made was right at 30 minutes and some days, 45! No fault of the house, but guests staying in adjacent homes can stay up all night at their pools, screaming, yelling, blaring music… seems to be no ‘rules’ or concern for consideration of those around you. Would be nice if there was some type of noise curfew/ordinance. Our neighbors last night stayed up THE ENTIRE NIGHT so it was impossible to sleep and made the trek home very difficult.

Family of 10 adults, the place was spacious and easy access. Beautiful home, very clean, exquisitely decorated. Kitchen could have been better stocked with the minimums but it was a great stay. Close enough to Disney Parks.

Trip of a lifetime!

We were all very pleased with the VRBO we booked for our Disney/Universal Adventure of a lifetime! The house very clean and had everything we were looking for and more. With 4 boys between ages 7 and 10, there was more than enough space to accommodate their energy levels when we were on "days off" from the parks. We did have a couple minor issues with the amenities of the house but when called upon, management addressed them almost immediately which was great. One small recommendation would be to ensure folks know that they would need to purchase their own dish soap, laundry detergent/fabric softener (which we did) but beyond that everything was wonderful. Champions Gate amenities were great on our down days from the park and the boys had a great time mini putting! One small issue with access to Champions Gate is that the QR code didn't work a lot of the time so we had to call upon security a lot to gain access. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay at this location. Thank you to mgmt for providing us a great place to stay on our vacation!
