Right on the waves
The house was in the perfect location to be able to sit in the hot tub and watch the ocean. Unfortunately, I had to call the property management company to get the lock code for the hot tub because it was not provided in the instructions. The house was clean and tidy, but could use updating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was there was no shade in the guest bedroom and I had to put a blanket over the window for privacy. Otherwise it was good.

House and Pacific City is amazing
My family had a great spring break trip here. The house was well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. The views were incredible and we spent so much time outside. The only downfall here was the hot tub was out of order, the refrigerator was a bit dirty and there was no cleaning supplies for us to clean it and we think the master toilet was leaking. Regardless of the minor inconveniences, it was perfect! I would definitely come back here and already trying to plan my next trip.

Beach berm
The house was nice but small. There is a big sand dune right in front of the house which completely blocks your view of the ocean even though the house is beachfront! The windows were dirty and foggy, making it hard to see out. There were no wine glasses. Bummer. On vacation, wine glasses should be stocked in the house!

Don't rely on the photos
Location was good, view was beautiful. My grandsons enjoyed the sand hill but if your elderly or not wanting to slide down 10 foot sand hill you aren't making it to the water. The pictures or description DO NOT tell you that. Very limited supplies, Hot Tub worked good. No high chair like they stated never answered my email on where I could find it. Cleanliness surface area ok just don't move anything. Beds were ok after we rewashed bedding due to there being spots and sand on sheets spots turned out to be stains sand no clue. We have been renting vacation homes for 25 years or more and really never take the time to leave reviews good or bad, but this rental was a complete disappointment especially for the cost. I would not rent this house again not even for half the money I paid last time. Not sure I would rent anything from the management company either due to Cleanliness and the things stocked in house & the listing description isn't very accurate and pictures are very deceiving. All of those things are the property managers responsibility

Kiwanda Shores Retreat
Spring break family vacation at Serendipity by the Sea was a fantastic time. The house was exactly as described with the amazing sights and sounds of the ocean and view of Chief Kiwanda Rock. Each morning was a coffee and and a long leisurely walk on the beach with local Oregon wines in the evening watching the sunset, fishing boats and reflecting on the day. The garage is action packed with beach toys which both my boys played with constantly throughout our trip. The kitchen is well stocked with anything and everything you would need to make a family / group meals with the exception of some disposable packaging like foil, cling wrap or ziplock bags. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, were not ready to return home, and would definitely rent here again.

Amazing, amazing, amazing
We came here to attend our sons elopement. Other groups members had houses a few doors down. Beach access is amazing and the views stellar!! There is a large sandy beach right outside the door and then out a ways a dune down to the water. I am not in great shape but I was able to go up and down no problem. My grandson played outside to his hearts content. The house was great for the whole family. The kitchen was fully stocked and there is a grill for bbqing. We had an amazing time and I am ready to book again. I also texted back and forth with the property manager regarding dogs visiting and items for the house before we got here and they were super responsive and helpful!!!

lovely little beach house
This was a great rental, with lots of natural light in the main living area and direct beach access. Easy drive into town (<5 minutes). Bunk room was perfect for the kids. Despite its fairly small size, the open floor plan and ample bedding suited our two families (totaling 10 people) very well.

Great house but be aware of beach access
The house was great! However, I chose this property because it was advertised on the beach and the pictures looked like it was a straight walk to the water, which is very deceiving. Instead, there is an embankment that is quite the hike down to the water then back up to the house and I had my 94 year old grandmother and 70 year old parents with me who were unable to use this beach access and had to drive to another beach to enjoy the water. Also, the beach access for the houses behind this property comes right alongside this house so you have people walking through the property all day. I just think this property should be more forthcoming about the beach access traffic and the hike to and from the water. Other than that, this house was very clean and open, lots of space for the 9 of us and 2 dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the sand. I would stay at this property again with a younger crowd.

Oasis by the sea
What an amazing view to wake up to in the morning. This beautiful oasis by the sea is exactly what we needed. The jacuzzi on the back deck is a plus.

Labor Day Fun
Great property, easiest check-in ever from my VRBO experience. The pictures don't do it justice and the beach access is worth the price. We were very happy (kids, hubs, elderly mother) just to stay put, play in the sand, walk along the beach and soak in the hot tub. The sunsets from the back deck cannot be beat!

Wonderful Location
The large great room with a full wall of windows overlooking the ocean was the perfect place to relax with family. The grandsons spent hours playing in the sand literally right off the patio. Can’t beat the view! Very close to everything in town.
