This was a frightening realization of the reality of health code inspection as the Mustang Inn was granted an A. However, we tried 4 different rooms only to find mold in 3 of them and one which had previously smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff attempted to accommodate us by trying different rooms only to realize the same problem, the air conditioning unit had been leaking inside of the room. My wife is a severe asthmatic and can’t tolerate mold related water damaged buildings. We began to look for what would cause it and discovered the same issue around the air conditioning unit.

No frills, but excellent place to stay!

Clean and comfortable. No frills, but just a good place to stop for the night. Easy access to the interstate. No breakfast at the inn, but for the price, you can easily afford to eat elsewhere, and there are numerous options nearby. We will definitely be staying there again.

The bed was comfortable, location was great, facility was clean. The towels were very rough. I agree with other reviewers, the place definitely needs a refresh.

The towels were terrible, our vanity was completely gutted, there were hairballs on the floor, no blow dryer. No breakfast or anything to eat and the halls smelled terrible

Only drawback was noisy cars warming up in the AM. Great bed, pet friendly and convenient to get back on the freeway. Seemed like a safe neighborhood and good price to value.

Right across the street from B Dubs, Texas Roadhouse, Cheddars, and Panera. Room was clean and everything worked. That being said, this is an older hotel and it is beginning to show its age. For the money, it is a very good option.

Not good.

There was none at the front desk to check us in for almost 25 minutes. We stood and waited with another couple. The entry way had a guest standing in it smoking and stinking up the place. There was a barking dog in the from about 10:30p-1:30p in the hallway outside our room along with several people talking loudly.
